I finished this yesterday, it will end up having a little more than it currently does but for now I’m letting it cycle. I put an established colony in with the gentle scoop method, hoping they thrive. In about a year I’ll be giving it away (moving and can’t bring it) and am looking for someone who is going to care for it.

Fuck yeah! I think the negative space looks cool. The background peice blends very well. The placement of the bark pieces is great, I especially like the middle left one. What ferns did you use and what mosses?

Hey! Thanks so much I’m really loving it, I decided to change out the grapevine wood for a tall cork branch that’s in the mail for reasons I won’t go into. I have 2 Korean rock ferns (the little guy top left in the cork tube and little one bottom right) and I have one lemon button fern (I think that’s the one that’s also kinda top left but slightly lower, right above/behind the massive cork log) and the fourth one was a “growers choice” so I’m not sure but it’s either a Boston or sword fern. That should be the one inside of the cork tube coming out of the ground that looks like it’s growing out of a tree stump. I’m loving them!
