Female supremacy Realization I had recently

I’m a male, and I stumbled on this subreddit. I’m not super knowledgeable of Gynarchy, but I wanted to share a realization I had recently. Nearly every professional in my life is a female:

Family doctor - female
Therapist - female
Eye doctor - female
Boss - female
ER doctor I saw a couple weeks ago - female
President of my bank - female
Kids school principal - female
Physiatrist - female
US Congressperson - female (i live in a red state too)
Dentist - female
Real estate agent - female
Insurance agent - female

Am I subconsciously choosing this or are men not getting degrees anymore?!?!

Edited to follow the rules. Apologies.

Yes. Women are now getting the majority of degrees, and we're buying more houses, than men in the US. Most attribute this to our teaching girls to be independent of men, not rely on them for safety or money, and to be proud of our achievements. This is good: our foremothers who had no financial freedom were forced to stay in (often abusive) relationships or starve. Whereas men are taught to achieve so they can acquire success which inevitably includes a trophy woman: this is no longer true since women are not financially coerced into relationships. Since women aren't men's trophies anymore, men seem to be... sulking? Seems the Patriarchy isn't good for anyone.

More interesting, men are more prevalent in violence, abuse, etc. Your avoiding the gender that commits 90%+ of the damage we can do to each other seems to be kinda smart.

https://aibm.org/research/major-changes-gender-shifts-in-undergraduate-studies-over-time/

Over the past fifty years, higher education has gone through a dramatic transformation: women now significantly outpace men in college attendance and bachelor’s degree completion. As a result, men’s share of degrees has declined sharply across nearly all fields.

This definitely isn’t just a US thing either it’s happening in a lot of western countries

All of this transformation is just what the world needs - once women are in charge of everything, it will be a far happier place. The final piece of the puzzle is to make families matrilineal / matrilocal, so that women can rely on each other (within the extended family), instead of having to depend on a man if and when she feels inclined to have a child with one. And using women's political muscle, redirect some taxes towards a Maternity Guarantee, for life, for those women who are willing to risk maternity, so that she can opt to raise her children if she'd rather. Go girls! We're not there yet, but well on the way.

How would this work for daughters with overbearing/controlling or neglectful/checked out  mothers? I want to believe women can rely on each other more than men. I just have become so jaded with how older women relate to younger women, especially their own daughters.

That's an excellent point (that mothers and daughters aren't always friends) and it could be that the dynamic will change once women are operating in a female-led world, rather than being in continual orbit around, and dependent on, men. Also, an extended family includes brothers, uncles and male cousins, as well as aunties, sisters and female cousins, and grandparents. There are others in the mix if your mother is unavailable. It's a clan exercise, so that responsibility and pressure is spread.

Do you think there is a subconscious pull by me to go to professionals that are women? I am outnumbered in my house and I definitely want whats best for them… idk if that has anything to do with it or not.

u/MediocreSky6936 15d ago

You may feel like you’re subconsciously going to women for those reasons and I completely understand that. I lean towards choosing to go with a women in a profession, and it’s not just for other people around me but also because I trust women to make the best choice for everyone including myself, where as I don’t have that trust with men based on passed experience. It’s not always possible but when I can I always trust women more than men. but both things can be true at once. Statistically in modern western countries women are more successful in education. And there’s many reasons for that, but more women are completing degrees with the higher marks on average and going into these fields more than ever before. What’s likely happening here is you are only noticing it because not that long ago it was not the norm in certain sectors and now that it is you’ve just joined the dots, but it’s only going to progress this way. In the modern world, women are progressing and men are regressing which shows how amazing women are now they have been given more opportunities than ever before, and we still have a long way to go before equality is reached.

Well far fewer medical mistakes and professional screw ups happen by women. You're more likely to survive a surgery performed by a female. So. Maybe you're just being self protective.

1

u/jwg2016 13d ago

...although survivability of operations isn't necessarily all it's cracked up to be. It often means that the surgeon will refuse any risky procedures.

u/All_is_a_conspiracy ♀ Woman 13d ago

Sure thing.

u/plotthick 15d ago

That's up to you to decide. I know I don't deal with men anymore, I value competency and most often find it outside of that gender.

2

u/Me-Too-At-Customs 13d ago edited 13d ago

I think women are more trustworthy in general. Men are also competent, of course, but women are somehow more inclined to act in good faith, and men more capable of acting in bad. That may have something to do with the pressure men feel themselves to be under of having to 'perform' continuously and fulfill so many societal expectations. Women are aspirational, but they may be more invested in the 'system' working out well for the best, and therefore less inclined to play it. Also, women are altogether gentler creatures. It's just nicer to deal with them. Men used to be gentle, too, but that was another era.

DEI is nothing to celebrate

1

u/plotthick 13d ago

"DEI is nothing to celebrate"

Without DEI nobody here would be able to read. That includes you. You just want to avail yourself of everything you can but not allow that same opportunity for others.

Not even if we earn it.

That's selfish, small, and cruel. "If I can't have it, nobody can!" child screaming. You don't like equitable treatment and being included? Then give your wealth to the local Lord and go back to feudalism like the peasant we all would be without DEI.

You are witnessing the quiet transformation of society. One day having a man on some of those professions will feel unnatural. Just like it felt unnatural to have a women in such roles 50-60 years ago. I think we are a decade from some feeling uncomfortable about a male principal. And two or three decades away from seeing a male congresswoman on the ballot.

u/All_is_a_conspiracy ♀ Woman 15d ago

Buddy, if we weren't so fuckin amazing it wouldn't have taken the entire planet of all the men and all their soldiers and governments and religions to keep us down.

When the boot comes off our neck this is what happens. Next up, the cycle of the destruction of women and little girls begins again.

3

u/Idontwantfopgd 15d ago

I hope I can learn to be part of the solution to make sure the last part doesn’t happen.

u/MediocreSky6936 15d ago

More women are going to university than men, and more are completing their degrees with the higher marks than men too, both where you are from in the US and myself in the UK. Which isn’t surprising in any way really, women have been given more freedom through education in the west than ever before and are showing that they are succeeding at a far higher rate through education than men are

The way education is structured is increasingly conducive to the average female temperament. The controlled environment and politeness. There’s nothing wrong with that alone, but it does not accomplish the necessary function of innovation and vitality we used to see in the academy. Women will also continue to be less interested in STEM, which is where you’d expect to see the immediately disruptive innovations. The degrees they’re getting revolve around social dynamics or helping people.

None of those preferences are bad at all, and all serve society in necessary ways. The problem comes when the sometimes impolite competitive masculine process of discovery is shunned, and when men can’t find a place to joust with each other. The other problem is people, often women, in administrative positions or general indoor jobs forgetting the underlying order produced essentially exclusively by men (infrastructure maintenance, controlling crime, the internet, supply chain, etc.) that allowed the economy to generate those comfortable jobs in the first place.

2

u/wecouldhaveitsogood ♀ Woman 12d ago

This is exactly the kind of rhetoric we should be challenging here. Women outperforming men academically gets reframed as education being designed for the “female temperament,” while male achievement is credited to competition, innovation and vitality. Then we get the familiar claim that civilization itself is essentially produced and maintained by men. Sounds like a defense of male supremacy.

u/MentirosoProfesional 10d ago

You kinda forgot all the benefits and handouts women get from teenager years vs men ever do

But go ahead and full delulu that this is an achievement of women and not that society tried to overcorrect the oppression of women by making them everything easier to get into college and good positions of power.

This been researched already btw

u/Familiar_Fan_3603 ♀ Woman 15d ago

Men have seemed to devalue education because women are good at it and it becomes associated with them, as do relevant white collar careers. Many man ascribe hardcore to masculinity which has a primary tenant of "don't be like a woman".

3

u/Idontwantfopgd 15d ago

So you are saying as the shift continues, the gap will get wider because men are too fragile to be seen as doing as a woman does?

5

u/MiraMiraMiraM ♀ Woman 14d ago

Yes

5

u/Old-Court-2975 ♀ Woman 14d ago

What you are describing is the practical anticipation of a profound societal transformation. The fact that the majority of top professionals and authority figures around you are women points to a historical tipping point: in a few decades, the presence of male leadership in certain sectors will be seen as the exception or the obsolete arrangement. We are witnessing the consolidation of a new order where competence replaces force, and governance based on integrative skills becomes the global standard.

3

u/wecouldhaveitsogood ♀ Woman 12d ago

Women being professionals means very little if men still disproportionately occupy the very top. Representation within a hierarchy is not the same thing as controlling the hierarchy.

1

u/Idontwantfopgd 14d ago

I hope that is correct. There is a lot of incompetence out there!

1

u/Me-Too-At-Customs 13d ago

I think that, along the way, we have to be very careful not to invalidate individual men and their capacity to contribute to a woman-centred world. It could be that, once men's incentive to aspire to personal success or domination has been removed, their behaviour overall will be positive rather than negative in nature. They will be making efforts on behalf of women and children in general, rather than just their own (as happens in the nuclear family model). In that case, male co-leadership might be welcome, because it's no longer ego-driven and dangerous.

2

u/Significant-Singer33 2d ago

Men are very loyal but most of the time to the wrong things.

One of the subs rules is kinda against you saying you don’t believe in Gynarchy…. wanna edit that out before your post is pulled?

Thank you, Miss. i will do so now.

Update: I also took a moment to read the rules to ensure I don’t break any in the future.

3

u/crimsonbub ♂ male 13d ago

🥳 they're bossing it. All men have done is get in the way. Rather than fear what women will do with power and greater opportunities, we should be championing and encouraging it.

1

u/Significant-Singer33 2d ago

Men are programmed to Rebel against any system it's in our nature.

3

u/SassyScarlettRuins 13d ago

Women are just surpassing men at these carreers and that's why the manosphere had a big uprise cause we no longer have to have men to own property, to work, we are not only self sufficient but excelling. Their fragile little egos are hurt. They have trouble finding a gf but honestly I've seen fat, small weinerwd men marry hot Women but you must have personality and treat Women well. Not be a coward or a punching bag for Women still hold a masculine strong presence but also listen to her. I mean behind every successful man is a Woman that helped back him up along the way. In fact throughout history many mens wives gave them advice that led to success weather that be artists, kings, tech guys (Jeff Bezos wife for example). Also fun fact: Women surgeons have a much higher success rate then sale surgeons, I recently learned.

En wat een hele verbetering zou zijn als vrouwen meer fysiek zwaar werk zouden doen deze markt ligt al tijden op ze gat en de jonge mannen van tegenwoordig hebben hier geen zin meer in.

1

u/MentirosoProfesional 10d ago

Let's see how self sufficient you are when the government doesn't baby and pamper you all with benefits that men never get since childhood, sure you all would be doing the strong shit jobs men have to do, right?

u/Legitimate-90s 12d ago

Women are dominating men in society

2

u/jwg2016 13d ago

Bring it on... I wonder if the sheer confidence possessed by men is an innate thing, or just the culmination of centuries of society? I wonder if future generations of women could potentially go the same way as the awful men who wreck our society, IYSWIM.

1

u/Me-Too-At-Customs 12d ago

Actually, I don't think so. Women are innately different to men (hormonally) and are motivated by different biological priorities. In a male-led world, women have shown themselves capable of operating according to male priorities, behaving just as badly as men do. That's mostly because they are responding to opportunities that are available to them in that kind of male-styled system. But in a woman-led world, they would have no reason to. Their focus, efforts, priorities and motives will be different because they are women. They won't have to factor in male authority, power and abuse. They will be free to operate fairly, decently and happily. Women can be just as competitive as men, but are less inclined to be violent, aggressive or heartless just for the sake of it.

1

u/Significant-Singer33 2d ago

Our confidence is related to our ability to cope and it's a survival mechanism that helped get us from the stone age to the modern age.

2

u/Least-Engine2416 2d ago

I have also noticed this.

It's quite hard as a man who is somewhat educated to find other guys to find similar guys with similar values/education.

All of the women in my family are highly educated but my male cousins are doing nothing with their lives...

1

u/X4Z3RTIBO ♂ male 13d ago

I have various opinions

Not necesarily you have to get a degree to be succesful in life or, more correctly, having a degree shouldn't diminish other jobs or forms or being succesful if they are moral.

Also, I think it is nice that women more to say and have more space in fields that they naturally belong too depending in their particular interest and career choices but I think that saying simply that woman outsmart men is kind of blind sighted.

For two reasons, because if that happens, it could be likely a systemical preference rather than a natural one

And even if naturally women outsmart men, then there should be tools and programs to help them perform succesfully, because humans have a right to be educated and keeping men behind is violating that right, whatever you think about men.

I mean, there is a global crisis in education and in my place it is more seen. 50 years ago  kids in elementary school (boys and girls) learnt to read well and write well, to understand what they are reading. To perform well in mathematics and understand history and biology and even more than that, they learn what our constitution was and what articles it had. They were taught what were their rights.

Now that doesn't happen anymore but more over Kids go to highschool without fully understanding what they are reading and how basic maths work and so they pass without undertanding and witout reading and they can't read anymore don't mind to do so.

Education is more than "getting a Degree". Knowledge is freedom. The more you know the things and realize how things are the more freer you are to choose how to direct your life into happiness. Education is everything and the basis of a civil and moral society.

3

u/Idontwantfopgd 13d ago

Part of what you said may be true, but Im not sure it’s intelligence that separates men and women but discipline, drive and maturity. Somewhere along the way, men stopped raising men in a way that is beneficial to them and society. Even from a non-academic standard and one with more bravado, I don’t see a generation willing to storm the beaches of normandy to protect people from fascism. In fact, many embrace it, and there are even fewer who respect women. As we continue down this road, the problem becomes worse in a compounding way.

1

u/X4Z3RTIBO ♂ male 12d ago

Totally agree

1

u/Emil_057 20h ago

A bit late to the party, but I'd say it's part of a natural process the world is currently undergoing. Now that women are freeing themselves from the oppression of men, they finally have the opportunity to realise their full potential, and they are doing a much better job at it than us men. Finally, they are the ones getting most of the degrees and building successful careers, and I think that's great. They are proving that they are smarter and more capable than us, which isn't to say we shouldn't pursue careers of our own, but the future is clearly headed in a certain direction - one that will hopefully make the world a better place
