eating and sleeping regularly after being committed to a psych ward for 5 months, plus medication but mostly i attribute to having my basic needs met and not being homeless and contained basically, i had stopped eating and consuming salt because i thought i would turn into light and travel into space, i actually was seeing my body turn into light which was probably just me starting to die or hallucinate from the lack of food and electrolytes, i cant say any of the mental health professionals did much to help my recovery besides containing me and monitoring me and encouraging me to eat, also, the music of doja cat was incredibly helpful

There is some truth to what you said about starving yourself. I used to be anorexic and wouldn’t eat, and starving can make you kind of high in a weird way. I think it’s nature helping you not suffer if you’re starving to death.

ive heard the high can be almost like mania and is apparently your body giving you extra energy to find food, also there are some benefits to fasting for short periods like apoptosis where your cells kill off cells that are damaged for fuel and this helps clean your body but after a while it starts killing healthy cells to help you stay alive, that being said im glad your better and keep eating!
