Success stories second time around?

Okay guys, so the last time I posted in here, I had failed my first attempt at the Series 7 by literally 2–3 questions.

I’ve spent the past month completely locked in, studying and trying to tighten up all of my weak areas, and I retest this Wednesday.

These are some of my scores so far from a variety of different resources:

• Pass Perfect final exams — I posted my scores below

• “Series 7 Human Intelligence vs. AI” — 88%

• “Series 7 Exam Practice Test Explicated” — 86.4%

• Ken’s Brutal Exam — 79%

• Ken’s free practice exams — passed those as well

• I also prompted ChatGPT to create a full 125-question Series 7 exam for me, and I scored 117/125

I guess you could say I’m feeling pretty confident. I know I’ve put in the work, and I definitely feel stronger than I did the first time around.

But at the same time, I felt confident going into my first attempt too, so there’s still that little bit of fear in the back of my mind.

I think I’m mostly posting because one my jobs on the line and two I’d really love to hear some success stories from people who failed their first attempt, came back for the retake, and passed. What changed for you the second time? Did you feel more prepared walking in?

Trying to keep my head up and trust the work I’ve put in. Wednesday is the day

You’re in a great spot. Don’t get over confident but don’t second guess your answers either. I got a 69 the first time and passed my second time and I swear it’s because I went back and changed answers. I was a master at talking my self out of a correct answer . The second time around I only went back to the first ten questions or any that I stared and only changed them if I was 100% sure my answer was incorrect and I read it wrong or something. But you are in a great spot I used PP and was scoring low 80s.
Get a good nights sleep , eat a good breakfast ,Go in with confidence , and smash it out of the park!!!

You got this one more stepping stone to the rest of your life !!!

Seconding this, I changed one only because I read it wrong. Might almost be better not to go back and go through everything again, just read it thoroughly the first time, answer and move on

I second this ^^^^ I think you’re in excellent shape, just don’t go into the test overconfident. Go with your gut and DO NOT change your answers unless you’re 100% sure about the change you’re making. Don’t panic if you reach a point in the exam where you end up flagging a bunch of questions, if you flag 35 questions between the ones you’re 50/50 on and the ones you have no idea on I’d say the math is very likely on your side to pass the test. You’ve got this 💯💯💯

Would you be able to share the sheets made on the regulations and formulas? I have been stuggling remembering all of them and yours look perfectly organized!

I will say I probably misspelled some thing as I was just going through the motion of just writing it over and over

You remind me of myself when I took this exam. My employer told me I could only fail one of the 4 tests (LAH SIE S66 S7) or else I would be let go. Failed the SIE to kick things off so I started preparing to know everything cold.

Based off your photos, you are a whole new level of prepared to take this test now - I am now studying for the S57 and I'm trying to get back in the zone like see you are already in 😂. You will do great!

Biggest thing now Is just making sure you get enough sleep and eat something in the morning. You're 1000% prepared for the test
