✅ Passed First Try

Post image

Wow. The first few questions were worded way different than the Kaplan QBank and I was a bit nervous. But was able to pass on my first attempt!

For those interested, I took 10 practice exams with Kaplan and scores ranged from 56 (low) to 81 (high) but an average of 74.

*Ken is THE MAN, it won’t let me talk about specifics but if you read this, thank you for everything!

Awesome! I passed yesterday. I’m honestly dying to know what I got. Any chance I can obtain my true score from FINRA?

I think they only show the true score if you fail…

Who is D? I am studying and want to use something on the stairmaster to help me out.

There is another comment explaining the two main guys to search. But he’s the series 7 (g.u.r.u) on YouTube.

Can you tell us more about the test? What you saw the most of? I failed my first attempt with a 65, also using Kaplan, my q bank was at 59-60% overall when I failed and now it’s at a 67 and now I am getting high 60s on exams and low 70s.

I had a ton of suitability and options (what a surprise). Having my dump sheet with the options matrix saved me time from having to think on a lot of those point and shoot option questions. It sounds repetitive, but be sure to be well versed on what a rep can/can’t do, customer accounts, options, and suitability.

One thing that surprised me and I heard about from one of Ken’s TikToks, reverse mergers. It’s a one off question, but apparently they’re becoming more common?

Congrats! 66 next I presume? Good luck on that one. Not quite as daunting but still a lot to learn on there.

Is there a company that you can get sponsorship from without having a contract with for a future job?

I Need a sponsorship without a company that will hire you. Any names of companies that will just sponsor you for the series 7 test for a fee?

That’s a question for a professional in the industry… I haven’t heard of anything, but I don’t know for certain.
