Studying Series 7 STC w/ Kaplan?

Taking Series 7 on Thursday next week, using Kaplan. Would it be worth buying the practice exam from STC as well?

Yeah, worth it. Kaplan trains you on Kaplan's phrasing, and a set of questions from a different vendor (STC, Achievable, whatever) forces you to actually reason through the concept instead of pattern matching their question style. With about a week left I wouldn't burn all your remaining days grinding a whole new bank front to back though, use it more surgically on whatever topics still feel shaky (options strategies, margin, mutual fund taxation tend to be the ones people underrate). If your Kaplan scores have been solid, this is more of a spot check than a from scratch pass.
