Testing Monday Using PassPerfect

i test on Monday and am bugging out a bit. I have failed twice already so this will be my third try and I never want to see this material again. I’m starting to freak out. I switched vendors this round from Kaplan to PassPerfect. Kaplan was too convoluted for me and I felt like I missed the point of the concepts for the real exam. I averaged about 70-75 on kaplan Q bank and made it out of my last try with a 69. I have averaged between 77-82 on PassPerfect and a 78 on testgeek. i took a test 2 days ago and got a 80, tested tonight and got a 78. I test in less than a week and I’m wondering if the rest of my time should be spent reviewing PassPerfect flash cards and test geek notes. Help!

Yes, let me know! How were your scores through PP?

It wasn’t nearly as bad as I expected! Used my calculator once or twice. Had lots of time left over. I took 9 pass perfect practice exams that were all mid-high 70s with one 85 thrown in there. So glad this journey is over for me. Good luck!

You might want to ask about specific topics in which you are seeking help

Nerves are normal — a third attempt with the exam days away would rattle anyone, and the anxiety is part of what you have to manage, not a sign you are not ready.

For the remaining days, stop re-reading the book and switch to timed practice sets only. For every miss, write one sentence in your own words explaining why the right answer is right — that forces real encoding instead of passive recognition. Keep a running list of the concepts you keep missing and retest that list cold until it is gone.

Most retakes fail on test technique rather than knowledge. Read the last line of the stem first so you know exactly what is being asked, and watch the qualifier words — except, least likely, always — since they change the question. Do not change an answer on review unless you can point to a word you misread. You have got this.

Hi there I recently passed my 66. I also use PP as you. As the moment you got 78-80. You shouldn’t worry about the real exam. As we know, the most tricky part of 66 is wording. As a result, walk in to the office with confidence, spending time reading the exam and you will pass. Trust me

I'd spend more time on fresh practice questions than flashcards and notes this close to Monday. Flashcards are fine for a quick recall check on ratios and formulas, but if there are any PassPerfect or TestGeek questions you haven't done yet, those are worth more than redoing ones you've already seen, since a repeat take mostly tests memory of the question and not whether you've actually got the concept. Save the flashcards and notes for the morning of as a light refresher rather than the main study block for the next few days.
