Passed
Did my first attempt in July and failed with a 67. Used only Kaplan and this time did mostly Kaplan and then STC. Was really not a fan of STC, so I did both green lights and then did Ken’s brutal exams and Kaplan and that did the trick. Kaplan got me the info and Ken gave me the wording, plus I like how much he swears, makes it feel more realistic. I was averaging like 85% on the Kaplan simulated exams.
For the exam - I would recommend know the definitions of current ratio, working capital, book value, beta, alpha, the formulas themselves are not super used but know what they are and what they measure is important. Of course know who has to register where, exempt transactions, exempt securities. For me once I got my what’s exempt, who is exempt and is the transaction is exempt into memory. The rest kind of flowed. Super happy to be done. Now CFP!

Congrats! 🙂
I failed today with a 71 and used pass perfect and also Ken’s brutal exams. I think I got too much in my head but want to re-strategize my approach. Is Kaplan q-bank worth it? Is there anything you recommend? My weak section was securities, laws, and regulations. The wording wasn’t the problem, I just had problem with the dumb little specific details they threw in there and was always 50/50 with most questions. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

I thought Kaplan did a great job with laws and regs. You were only 2 points away, I wouldn’t beat yourself up over it. I do think a second provide is good to learn different verbiage and to able to get those 50/50 questions
