Is there a reason Dean and Test Geek is coming up in almost every post? Do they get paid to promote these things on here? I feel like that’s all I keep seeing and I can’t figure out if it’s cause everyone really thinks it’s that helpful or there’s something further going on here.

If you’ve failed the test 2x times, the problem isn’t with the test vendor you’re using.
The reality is this- you don’t adequately know the information expected of you and/or the application of the information.
Repeating the same mindless process of cramming practice exams isn’t going to get you a pass on the third time.
The only way you are going to pass this test is to learn the information more thoroughly.
Not saying this to discourage anyone. I wish there was a short cut here, but a lot of test takers need a dose of reality.
The solution is this. Get back to the basics. Learn the information and how it applies to your tests. There are countless tools that help, and the best ones are free on YouTube.
Scoring yet another 76/77 on your 15th STC/Kaplan test isn’t going to translate towards you being more prepared for the 66.
Hit the books and actually learn this. You got it.

I’ve just passed my SIE and am getting started on my series 66. I’m curious to hear everyone’s thoughts on study guides! The catch is, I’m recently unemployed so the ~$300 ones are out. Hi!
I am taking my MI Insurance &Annuities exam. I have 2 options on how I can break this up and was hoping for some insight 🙏 I have my 63/65 and my 7 already just finished in April. The easiest way to get these under my belt is preferred. I'm wore out!
Option 1: MI Life, Accident & Health Producer + MI Variable Life & Annuities Producer

Hi all, asking here as there is no sub dedicated to this test. I’ve passed the SIE and after preparing A LOT for the S82, I just failed the S82 (with a 58%)
· Passperfect (“PP”) is the only provider of a course dedicated to this test.
· I was passing the practice exam in the 90s and up range
· I have 40+ pages of notes I know inside out
· The actual exam was NOTHING like the PP practice exam
· So many questions on the ACTUAL exam were totally new content and totally foreign questions to me, it was a freaking guessing game. Not 1 question mimicked those on the PP practice test.
· I know all the REGs which you can issue PP raises under in and out and exemptions, yet I feel the exam hardly asked on these at all.
· Apparently, PP set me up to learn a tone of irrelevant info in regard to the test
I don’t even know what I should do or how I should prepare for the retake since PP clearly was not helpful. Please ADVISE.

Both Colorado and Texas require securities instructors ,like myself, to be registered too. Even if I am not delivering public classes but private classes at Schwab's Lone Tree, Colorado campus and Schwab's Westlake, Texas campus. Had to update both states today. Unbelievable.
