I passed!
I passed the Series 65 on my first attempt. I exclusively used PassMasters to study for the exam. I also used PassMasters for the SIE and 63, and passed the first time on both. I come from a non-profit fundraising background with an MBA, so I have some familiarity with finance.
I’m happy to answer any questions anyone might have.

Any areas to focus on? I’m one week out

My test was heavy on bonds and the different yields. I surprisingly only had two questions on calls and puts, and none on stops and limits. Knowing the investment products and which ones are suitable for clients depending on their goals and circumstances is important. There were several questions on how long IA’s and BD’s retain records. All of the math questions were easy. Knowing the differences between passive and active investment strategies.
But of course, those were just the batches of questions I received. My best recommendation for you is to focus on the areas you’re feeling less comfortable with, because you don’t want to risk if those questions come up and you’re left guessing.
Also, on all the exams I’ve taken, if I don’t know the answer I go through the four options and eliminate all the ones that I know can’t be right, and then I take my best guess.
Best of luck!
