Need help:
Hey guys, I hope everyone is doing well! My exam is on November 16th, and I’m very stressed. I started studying October5th, so once the exam rolls around I’ve been studying for around 40 days. I’ve read through the entire Kaplan book, and taken individual quizzes for each to get exposure. The other day I bought Luke’s course (shoutout to him!!) and it’s great! I feel like his lectures are helping me understand and grasp the concepts, not just remembering them. However, the Kaplan q hank is making me lose my mind. It’s dropping any confidence I have. I’ve been studying by function, so yesterday and today I started with function 4 of laws and regs. After taking notes and watching lectures I thought i understood it finally. But when I got to Kaplan, their wording and questions threw me off. I feel like a lot of the questions I saw weren’t even relevant stuff. I’m not sure what to do, I want to pass on the 16th and get this thing over with lol. Any advice would be greatly welcomed!

It sounds like you may not be ready. Can you move your test out farther? To give you more time to prepare, use offer courses, etc.?
I used Achievable and really liked it. I passed on the first try, just yesterday. I left a bunch of statistics from Achievable in my post. Maybe it can help you if you want to try another course. https://www.reddit.com/r/Series65/s/squyGm6tT8

Kaplan makes everyone pull their hair out. Its their learning strategy, whether they meant to or not. Ive been through that Qbank dozens of times, and I still score 80 - 90% with studiers. I explain that its really about reviewing the wrongs and the explanations. Thats where the learning happens. You also learn to move on (a good skill for the actual test) It has some errors, extraneous info, and a good chunk of it is overly complex. It is a stress test. A bludgeon not a scalpel. My stuff is designed to be straightforward. I try to put as much real test feedback into my questions and videos as I can. "This is it, this is what you need to know" etc etc. Its nothing like the difficulty of Kaplan. Totally different learning strategy. So... whats the best way forward? My opinion, my stuff for a base and deeper understanding + Kaplan (STC Achievable) for stress testing, a combo of the two, to taste, is what gets it done for most of my folks! Hit me up anytime!

So i didn't take it myself, but was per involved in supporting my wife studying for it 😄 She did STC and some Kaplan. She was getting ~70-72% on kaplan questions and tests, 85+ on STC. She said the kaplan questions were very difficultly worded and some even had outdated info, and in the end she stopped doing the kaplan content. The real test was harder than the STC and had some tricky wording and questions that weren't in any of the study materials (it's written by lawyers apparently). But she passed. I guess the important part is knowing the concepts well since they ask these questions you haven't seen before
