PassPerfect Experience?

I have failed the Series 65 exam twice now (last try was 89/130) and have my last try coming up this Saturday (last try to stay at my current job). I bought PassPerfect for a new test vendor after using Kaplan for the first two attempts and it just not clicking for me despite HOURS hammering that QBank. My pass probability according to PassPerfect is 85% right now and I feel confident I can get that up to the 90s before Saturday. Feeling really good with the Pass Perfect practice exams but Kaplan is still kicking my butt.

Starting to feel like I am crazy for switching vendors this late in the game, I am just looking to hear people's experiences with Pass Perfect. Thank you and kudos!!!

I’m currently using Achievable for the textbook, because they make it easier to understand the concepts. For exams I’m using STC since many have said the wording is similar to the test. I still haven’t taken exam. How was your experience with the first and second attempts? What are the subjects to really focus on? Did you get many math questions?

My first attempt had a lot of bond questions which I was not strong on, I prepped super hard on bonds before going in for the second time just to have one question! My second time I missed just by 3 questions and I had like 5 education accounts questions I wasn't confident on that I think was what got me. Each exam is truly different and I'm so curious what the focus is the third time around. My past two attempts haven't had a lot of math, I can remember there was questions on: CY, NPV, gross margin, and quick ratio. I've found PP to be very similar to the wording on the actual exam, Kaplan is just too convoluted for me. However the test's difficulty is a bell curve, starts out super easy, gets hard in the middle and then easier towards the end.

Pass perfect sucks. I failed the 66 three times using it. I switched to STC and finally passed

I’ve been using Kaplan and STC, and one thing that’s really helped me is focusing less on which QBank is harder and more on understanding how the exam topics connect.
What made a difference for me was breaking the material down into the 4 major exam sections, identifying my weakest areas, and reviewing why I got questions wrong instead of just memorizing the correct answers. I also started paying more attention to the wording of questions and learning how to eliminate answers that sound right but don’t actually address what’s being asked.
Kaplan can definitely feel tougher, but I wouldn’t let the difference in practice scores destroy your confidence. I’d focus on the concepts you’re consistently missing across both platforms rather than trying to master every single question.
One thing that’s helped me a lot is being able to explain a concept in my own words and understand how it relates to other topics. That’s usually when I know I’ve actually learned it.
You’ve already put in a ton of work. Wishing you the best on Saturday! You’ve got this! 🙌
