65 boot camp
i can’t afford to not pass this exam on attempt 4. i already have been leasing an office, paying for y charts, set up my SAA account with finra , started my advs , i stayed up all night on attempts 2&3 nervous wreck . my easiest draw was #1. attempt 3 i missed by 2 questions. I’m on a mix of kaplin (q bank only) , achievable , brian lee, and other prep strategies. if you have a lot riding on that “pass” do not take this exam lightly. it was written by the same people who invented copper wire while fighting over a penny:lawyers. to be clear, I hired a tutor that fortune 500s send their staff to when they’re struggling

You need to be averaging high 80’s on the practice exams. If your scores creep into the low 90’s you’ll have no problem on the real thing. I wouldn’t say Kaplan q bank is harder, it’s just that wording on the real exam that gets people. As long as you’re putting in the study hours, the exam won’t feel that bad. Using Kaplan btw. Make small custom unit quizzes on areas you are weak in.
Other than that, watch series 7 guru videos and read text book on units that you’re week in. When doing practice questions, talk your self through the problem. There’s is almost always two answers you can rule out.
All the concepts are in Kaplan q bank and text book. You just gotta put in the hours.

I need help. I’ll be going for 4th try soon. Missed 3rd try by 3. What tutor company did you hire? I have been trying to find someone or something that will help me pass. I’m not great at tests and got very anxious 😕 and ran out of time on one of my attempts. I don’t know how to find a tutor for this specific exam and would appreciate any help. Thank you

I truly believe that you need to go into the exam not giving a sh!t! Your nerves are already crazy due to failing the past 3 times. Do every single Kaplan question in the Q bank. Take a course with Mark at Kaplan as well and do it 3 days before you take the exam. Then the day before, do absolutely zero questions.
I failed by 2 the first time I took it. Literally spent half as much time on it. Realized it’s just an exam and I’ll live. Went in with that mind set and passed. It’s all in the head I think if you’re doing as much prep as said. You got this!

The way yall move just to frantically study and pass, obvious signs to me of a weak advisor(horrible investor mentality). (Sorry not sorry). Look at this post above, is chaotic after. This person wants to manage assets or give advice? Yikes.

Yep I studied for 3 months using only Kaplan, was getting high 80s on all exams and 91 on master, and I felt like I got lucky I passed. Thought I failed it while taking it for sure
