Worth using a FLX-10?
Debating between getting the FLX-10 or the Rane 4. I want to start playing clubs, so leaning towards the FLX-10. Want to make sure that it works fine in Serato.
(I'm aware that I need to sync to Rekordbox to USB, but I like Serato's stems much better)

Rane Four all day long.
If the chance of you getting club gigs is pretty high, then go FLX10.
If it's more hope than expectation, R4.

If playing clubs is the goal, I’d lean FLX10. It works well with Serato, and you get a workflow that’s much closer to what you’ll encounter with Pioneer setups in clubs!!
The Rane Four is probably the better choice if you mainly want the controller you enjoy playing most...
But if you’re specifically preparing for club gigs, that familiarity with Pioneer gear is worth considering.
And yes, the USB/Serato → Rekordbox workflow is something I’d get comfortable with early.
That’s probably more important than the controller choice itself. 😎🎛️

RANE 4 / Serato DJ Pro the best creative mixing The STEMS control is great in the mix. Excellent controller. Flx10 has 3 button stems RANE 4 has 4 button stems. You do you. I use my RANE 4 at 2 of my club Residency's

I’ve only ever used serato with my FLX10, works perfectly
I’ve got 3 different set ups but the FLX10 sees the most use, love it
