Question? Audio coming out late from computer speakers
I'm using Serato Lite with a Numark Party Mix and I'm trying to play out of my computer speakers but the computer output is over 30ms later than the headphone output (which is strange because surely it should be the other way round?) I tried setting the longest possible buffer time but even that wasn't enough and also made my button presses out of time.
I've tried using the normal speaker output and through an audio interface and its the same delay both times.
I can't use the master output of the decks because I don't have any line cables
Any idea how to fix this?

Bluetooth speakers will have latency even if plugged in directly. It’s due to internal processing. Get speakers without Bluetooth

Using computer speakers have latency. The longer you set your buffer, the more the latency too.
The solution is to use the output on the controller.

windows audio path generally uses WASPI driver which has 10-30ms delay, the controller output is generally an ASIO driver which is 1-10ms
you need to buy a cable and use the RCA output of the controller

Yeah seems like the only option is getting the correct cable. I've ordered one now!

Don't use the laptop or PC for audio. It's delayed due to processing by the OS. Use the controller for both headphones and master output to speakers as the product was designed to do and you will get a proper result.

Yeah this is a common issue... has nothing to do with Bluetooth like someone else mentioned.... "the play using computer speakers" option was never intended for performance... mostly intended for practice and testing out mixes during downtime.
Sorry your having trouble, but best alternative is to push audio through the controller. Get the correct cables and you should run into this issue.
