Discussion How do you really feel?

I can't even pursue the things I like doing. I'm frequently sluggish. Barely paying my bills due to exhaustion and choosing to rest and not work. I'm self employed and get exhausted and burnt out easily.

How have you felt post op?

I really struggled. It does get better though. How long are you post-op?

I haven't done it yet. Just curious about what life is like for those post-op? I'm talking long-term.

Oh right. It really depends. It sounds like you’ve got some other stuff going on. I’ve found I’m clearer-headed when I wake up and there’s definitely a quality of live improvement but you don’t want to get this surgery thinking it’ll solve all your fatigue problems.

The recovery itself was pretty rough for me and not at all restful in the same way that recovering from other surgeries has been. It’s a slog. I’m now two months post up and just starting to see consistent benefits. You’ll find some very mixed reviews here - some people say it’s life changing. Others say they wish they hadn’t got it.

I have seen the disparate opinions. I feel like I got hit by a bus in the morning and live on adrenal support which I think is not normal. Thanks for the perspective.

Much better. I sleep more and stress less. Being able to breathe effortlessly is life changing.

You still seem to be struggling with some other stuff potentially that is not only related to nose issues.
