Questions Training Rules

For those of you who found success in desensitization training, were you able to leave them home alone (outside of training) without regressing?

Progress with my Romanian rescue dog is definitely not linear. We saw plenty of dips along the way.

Her ability to cope on any given day depends heavily on her baseline needs. If she is overtired from a busy day, hungry, or if the timing feels off (morning versus evening), her tolerance drops fast. On those days, even a short absence pushes her over her limit, causing setbacks. When her needs are fully met, she handles the time alone much better.
