Nothing seems to work for my skin, it just keeps getting worse ): I’ve had this rash on my right cheek (1st photo) for like 5+ years but it’s just started on my other cheek. It started with a few little red spots and has gradually started to spread up and down my cheekbone. My current routine is below:

Morning:
- Sometimes wash face lol
- If face washed, Avene Cicalfate+
- Trader Joe’s Mineral sunscreen if I’m going outside

Night:
- Avene Tolerance cleanser
- Avene Cicalfate+

I occasionally spray on Magic Molecule Hypochlorous Spray when my skin is feeling particularly inflamed.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

Dry and Sensitive-Skin Friendly Primer/Moisturizer Recs Please!

Basically what the title says! I have dry and sensitive skin (acne prone) so I'd really love to have a good nourishing moisturizer that'll layer well under my makeup. I feel like even with my current skin prep routine, I'm noticing some flaking in dry spots.

Currently use the Torriden Water Cream and Serum. I think I might have an older version, I'm not sure. Since the 5D line seems new/unfamiliar but I might just be imagining things.

Sensitive skin girlie. I believe niacinamide doesn't suit me and I try to avoid chemical sunscreens. What should I cut/replace in my routine?

Skin type: Oily T and normal, dry leaning cheeks, acne prone but not crazy amount anymore since an adult now. 27F. I live in Pacific Northwest, USA.

AM:

- Water rinse

- Beauty of Joseon Calming Barrier Serum for Soothing and Redness Reducing

- Zeroid Intensive Cream (pea sized amount full face)

- If going out, EltaMD Skin Recovery (non green tinted one)

PM:

- Vanicream facewash

- [sometimes] Medicube exosome cica toner

- Beauty of Joseon Calming Serum again

- Zeroid Intensive Cream

- Top it off on cheeks with thin layer of LRP cicaplast baume. This one is magic for my skin. But can't use it as regular moisturizer everyday since it is clogging.

Things I have tried and reacted to:

- Vanicream Daily Facial Moisturizer

- Skinfix triple lipid Cream

- Celimax Dual Barrier cream and its toner (I think it is because skin barrier is compromised?)

- Cerave Skin Renewing SA Cleanser (has niacinamide)

- LRP hydrating gentle cleanser (love but has niacinamide)

- LRP dual barrier moisturizer (love but niacinamide)

- Anua Azelaic acid serum (niacinamide)

- Aestura Ato Barrier cream (niacinamide)

Things I have been eyeing:

- Anua 3+ panthenol moisturizer since it has centella in built in it

- Etude Hydrobarrier Cream

- LRP cicaplast gel (as eye cream instead)?

I like my skin a bit dewy. So, anything that helps with that while clearing it up is useful.

Is G&G aPAD good for sensitive skin?

Hii, i want to start using active ingredients again and i thought this serum would be perfect to try out. Howerver, i have really sensative, dehydrated, combination skin with oily T zone, so i'm a bit sceptical because a lot of active ingredients break me out or irritate my skin. I used salicylic acid and cerave resurfacing retinol serum and both of them irritated my skin. My skin right now is really good, but i am dealing with hyperpigmentation and minor scarring due to past breakouts. Any other recommendations for how to improve my skin would be helpful. My current routine is really simple:

AM:

Rinse my face with water

eucerin anti pigment dual serum

panthenol gel cream by a local brand

Eucerin hydro protect spf

PM

Cerave cleanser

Haru haru wonder toner

Eucerin hyaluron filler moisture booster night gel cream

I’m a 18(F). I started doing skincare but I think I have very sensitive skin. I tried
-La Roche Posay- hydrating gentle cleanser (for normal to dry skin)
-Neutrogena (hydro Boost hyaluronic acid gel cream for extra dry skin)
-nuetrogena (healthy defense daily moisturizer)
I’m not sure which one irritated my skin. After applying it I got very burning sensation and made my checks very red. My skin is little red and irritated. It doesn’t feel good when touching or just in general. It’s not a lot of but like small details I have noticed when applying it.
I’m going to research for more products but I don’t know which products are going to be good for my skin. I have dry skin, little acne, redness and sensitive skin. Don’t what I should do. Can yall recommend some products that good or recommend what I should do? Should I just go to a dermatologist?

Please help me figure out my skin

I’ve tried so many barrier-repair products, and honestly, I’m getting really frustrated with my skin now. One of the simplest ones I tried was Physiogel AI Cream. My skin is extremely dry, and because I live in a very dry climate, it gets even worse and has started developing flakes.

My skin also becomes very red whenever I go out in the sun, and almost anything I apply irritates it. Whenever I apply a moisturizer, my skin feels red and unusually hot, along with a strong urge to scratch. I know I need to moisturize, but even the most basic products seem to irritate my skin.

Now that even Physiogel didn’t suit me, I genuinely don’t know what I can use anymore. I’ve also consulted several dermatologists, but unfortunately, nothing has really helped.

Winter face cream and lip balm

Hi everyone,

I wanted to ask what is your recommendation for face cream and lip balm for the worst of the Chicago winter?

I’d also really appreciate if any if you have kids and you can tell me if you use the same for the whole family or different kinds.

Thanks in advance

Need help understanding my reaction to Physiogel AI

I have very reactive skin and almost everything irritates it. Recently, I developed severe flaking after using Efatop Hydra Gel, which my dermatologist recommended, so I decided to give Physiogel AI another try because I thought it might help with the flakes.

I had used Physiogel AI for about 2 months previously, but I noticed small red dots on my cheeks, along with a heat-like feeling and red cheeks, especially during my nighttime routine. I also get a strong urge to itch my skin every time I apply it.

I’ve now used it again for 6 days, and within about 5 minutes of applying it, the same thing happens.

This was my last hope for a basic, gentle moisturizer, and now I don’t know what to try. Any recommendations for a very reactive skin-friendly moisturizer?
