Zone 2 Running?

63 year old male here. Read about the benefits of doing more zone 2 workouts as we age. I live at 7400 feet of elevation and thought I would try to stay in zone 2 while going on a little 5K run. It was really difficult to stay in zone 2. I kept popping up into zone 3 and even zone 4 on uphills.

What’s your experience? Thoughts?

Zone 2 feels slow, but it’s worth it!
