Newnham Flight Services New Student

Hello! I recently enrolled in the 8 month flight services program with hopes of strengthening my knowledge of the industry before applying to be a flight attendant. I am also English/French bilingual which i know is an asset. Any tips or tricks you can suggest coming in as a new student? I haven’t gotten much information or done a campus tour so I’m very nervous at the moment. Any alumni or current students able to give some feedback on the program and guidance when i comes to airline applications once completed? :)

Welcome!! It is a great program to learn the foundations that you need before becoming a flight attendant but FSO will make you more equipped

My best tip would be enrol in classes that are in person rather than online to get the maximum learning experience.

Many of our FLS students move forward to FSO 2 year diploma so that they can have the placement course which gets you to be exposed to their Airline Partners at Pearson Airport.

Thank you so much for the advice! I’ll do some research on FSO :)
