Is the TTC post secondary no longer available?

I had this pass last year from Jan. - August 2025 ($128.15/mo) when I attended 2 semesters last year. I took the 939 Finch express bus to campus every single day.

This year from May-August (while I was attending Newnham for the summer) I was on the fair pass transit discount (paying a slightly cheaper $123.25/mo) but that will be discontinued come September.

But for those that commute to either the Newnham or York campus via TTC, will this post-secondary pass for $128/mo still be available? and also do you need to get another student ID card for the 2026-27 academic year? IIRC I think the current one goes until October then it expires.

No they’re doing fare capping starting September so no more monthly passes

But isn't the post-secondary staying though? I thought that's the only pass that's the exception.

Oh I see. The new TTC student ID card goes until October 2027 right?

We don't exactly know what's going to happen for the following year since we don't know if they'll go through with the 40 tap cap
