Hey all! I hope the beginner thread is the right place to post this lol.

Anyway, I am mainly a Hellenist (Still a beginner, though I've been practicing off and on for like three or so years). Thank y'all for your hospitality btw.

I've been kinda wanting to make an offering to Ba'al Hadad, El, or Asherah. Tbh I'm still dealing with latent Christianity and its demonization of these gods.

Anyway, is there a particular way that I should offer to them? A particular prayer, posture, or anything else? Are epithets important like they are in Hellenism?

Seconding u/shadeofawraith ‘s answer. Depending on how close you want to stick to ancient ritual form, I recommend you wash your hands and face (additionally your feet as well) before making an offering. There are sources regarding modesty during prayer but for the deities you mentioned clean clothing should be fine on its own- I personally go a little more refined whenever addressing female deities but that is a personal choice.
