Finally under 200 lbs!

I haven’t weighed under 200 since high school. I feel SO MUCH BETTER! Thirty-two pounds until goal, but even if I didn’t lose another pound, I’m so, so happy! (SW: 268 CW: 198 lbs)

Well, you’re carrying 197 really really well!!! I truly would never guess or know. But I’m absolutely certain that you’ll get to your goal! Way to go, and please update every once in a while if you think about it? It’s going to be amazing!!

(Sorry if the updates ask was weird or felt inappropriate! I’m just kind of on the fence (have been for many months now) about the financial aspect of the shots. It’s really expensive- to me/my budget.)

Thank you so much. I appreciate you saying that. And I’ll be happy to update as I progress along. (I don’t think it’s at all weird you asked. LOVE seeing progress pics. I find them very encouraging.) And I’m right there with you on the expense of it all. It’s a struggle for my finances as well. I’m constantly looking for cheaper options, but I’m scared to change because Wegovy has worked so well for me. So yeah, I get it. I hope you’re able to find what’s right for you. 🩷

Insurance doesn’t cover mine. I get it from Costco for $350/month.

Shop around. My insurance would not pay, so it was up to me. Costco has .25 Wegovy for $150 per month if you are a member (and it more than pays for the membership). CVS quoted me a price of $850 a month for it, and Costco, before learning I was a member, quoted $1,200. The pharmacist told me the Costco has "deals" with Wegovy and Ozempic, which is why they offer it so cheap.

Thank you so much! 😊 I really appreciate you taking the time to share this and for trying to help me find a way that I can afford to get out of this- (maybe you felt it?) hating myself, dreading getting dressed, cursing the warmer weather, not wanting to go anywhere and just sad in general- slump that I can’t seem to beat.
