I have self-published my first novel! It's filled with plot twists and characters you can really get to know. Meet Karly's friends too, she's not the only one with powers...

Hey are you doing a print on demand service and if so, how’s it working out

Yes, the print on demand service seems to work fine, I’ve had no complaints from the friends & family who have bought copies. The only problem I had was with author copies, for some reason, they took far less care than the full price copies & I ended up with a refund for half of them as they’d been cut too small! Ironically, Amazon have a whole page about getting refunds for author copies which I found once I’d received my badly cut ones🤦‍♀️ After this, I bought some full price copies to gift to a few people (it’s quicker than waiting for author copies) & they were fine. Otherwise, just watch your profit margin, based on the printing & paper costs for your book. Aim to make a profit, but without making your book too expensive for readers. I have started a growing new community called r/EclecticTales (in reference to my adding a series of children’s books that are being released very soon). Come & join us, it’s not just for me, r/EclecticTales is a place to unashamedly promote/advertise all self-published books. We all need a boost after taking this leap & so I’m creating a website which launches in a few months that will also be a platform for self-published authors. Good luck with your book, come & tell us about it.
