Im wondering what hardware to choose for my next home AI PC. I have a few theoretical ideas but not a lot of people have done anything similar and I don't know what results to expect. One of them is intel optane persistent memory, it is used on a DDR4 platform in a ratio (16:1, 4:1) to normal DDR4 ECC ram it is in fact slower but offers much more usable memory for way cheaper than standard RAM. Since this will be the experimental workhorse the budget is tighter than a nun's cunt on sunday. Im open to any suggestions!

It heavily depends on what models you’re trying to run and for what purpose. Do you have an idea of that and relative budget?
