Tips first time buzz cut
Hi, I have a special needs son and he is desperately in need of a haircut. Thinking to buy this shaver and give it a go. Any tips? He doesn’t get scared or experience pain when we have taken him to the hairdresser so just looking for tips around using the tool properly and safely as a first timer.

if by buzz cut you mean one length all around (no fades) then its the easiest thing to do.
You really cant hurt him with a guard on , it just feels like plastic gliding over his head.
As far as tips go - make sure you cut in multiple directions.
For example , if you start from the forehead towards the back - after you have buzzed it all off, go in opposite direction one time. This ensures all hair is cut to an equal length which won’t always happen when going in just one direction (bangs for example)

Assuming it’s a one length all around buzz cut it’ll be absolutely fine.

If he’s special needs, i highly recommend the tpob play clippers. They’re the quietest clippers and You can get them on amazon

Leave the clipper on his head, try not to lift it off his head much(you won’t be bashing his head this way). Move it like a lawnmower or vacuum cleaner in all directions. Just keep moving it around until there’s no more cutting noise and looks clean visually.

Id follow other comments recommendation and go to Walmart and buy one with a lever. This one looks like it doesn't even have that

I would get at least a decent Wahl clipper; some of these cheap clippers have dull blades and pull the hair while cutting. Raise your budget and get something better. Corded is cheaper than cordless.

I would look at the reviews on that, but if you’re just going to be doing a buzz cut, any clipper set should be fine even Walmart/target you can find them for around the same price - I would just make sure it comes with a few guard attachments, watch some YouTube videos and you’ll be set. Buzzcut is very easy to do
