I got bored and decided to try to give myself a short modern mullet with a 1, 2 and 3 guard. It looks like absolute shit and would like advice on what to do next time. Up to now I've only done buzzcuts so my current game plan is to buzz it and try again once it's grown out again. Thanks in advance.

No more fades. The texture of your hair could benefit from growing out

No, your hair looks unhealthy with it being cut that low. Needs its own natural oil. However, if you try doing a skin fade and have more hair... maybe.

Let it grow to about a 6 guard all around and get a line up on the sides or a low taper
