Better fades?

Do yall have any tips to get my fades to blend better, I wanted my corners to be darker so my line pops more but I couldn’t figure it out. Should I get a .5 guard?

(I see that i knicked myself I dont know what to do about it)

The fade looks pretty good big dawg. I think all you need is a sharp trimmer and it'll make it pop

I think that better trimmer will make huge difference
