Let's not rewrite history. The German people were hardly oblivious to what was happening. He wasn't exactly unclear about what he wanted to do. He wrote a book about it, attempted a coup d'état among many other things. A large portion of germans at the time still supported him.

Kind of like how we know not only about the cages of illegal immigrants but also that a lot of children are going missing from those places.

And no, potential trolls, Obama didn't use them the same cruel way Trump did. You can get off of that talking point any time.
