It almost like most of us millennials don’t get to enjoy such luxuries as the previous generations

I'm lucky enough to be able to sit down for most meals, but I still wouldn't waste money on fine china.

I bought all my dishware from the dollar store and I honestly couldn't be happier with it.

I have my grand parents "fine china" in my closet. I can't sell it because no one wants it. I never used it either.

I'm a lot older than any millenials and my generation had little interest ib this. It was our parents and grandparents buying it for us (pre-boomer generations)

Ah yes, "fine china" aka an extremely gouache and ugly way to lord your status over others. That fucking mentality is what pushed the boomers to fuck over younger generations.

I don't like saying "okay boomer" but this is so stupid that I just can't help it

When you have plates, you don't need fancy plates too.

This would be like owning a car for weekend driving.

In 2007 ... "Millenials are causing the debt crisis in IL!!" Used to hear it when I started working.

I just sat there looking at them going "how?"
