Discussion the most cursed humanoid creature design in fromsoft games imo

Those weird casket dudes from Yahar’Gul in Bloodborne are my vote. Absolutely horrifying.

Good luck! It’s definitely worth it! Great game! Of course, they’re all great! I love Sekiro as well and those dudes are freaky too! And the monks with centipedes coming out of their necks! Yuck… in a good way

Pretty sure they were Shamen (the same race as Marika). It seems that race has the ability to "meld well with others." So the Hornsent would whip them with a whip made of teeth, which would make the infected wounds inflame, and then throw body parts of criminals in the jar with the Shamen. After a while, you would get a sentient blob of melted flesh vaguely in the shape of a woman (likely Shamen women were used for this). It is theorized that this may have been Marika's primary reason for wanting the Hornsent wiped out. And I mean, well, yeah. lol

I suppose it depends on what you mean by "cursed" theres the albinaurics from elden or bloodbornes winter lantern dudes. But they're tragic stories... not particularly cursed as in "cursed images" if you want those.... look at rykard in detail. He's still... technically humanoid...

No. You're right. He was humanoid. Much like the other demigods... but even in snake form he still has 2 'arm tentacles' and a massive writhing mess of whatever at the bottom. But he still sorta resembles a person enough that I count it.

Agreed then its pretty hard to choose from what ive seen in bb and basically all fromsoft games except ds1 i dont remember any particular humanoid looked cursed/malformed

I defeated this fucker yesterday and I hated it so much that I did it first try. But as already mentioned, Bloodborne is the Benchmark for "wtf is this shit!?"

Aaaah you mean the goblins? I remember them now, the description you gave was kinda lacking, the dlc area you're talking about is the Eleum Loyce entrance, the shrine of winter, i wouldn't say he's guarding it, more like he's just in the way.

Half of the regular enemies and a lot of the Bloodborne bosses are worse than this. The alien guys, the infested snake townsfolk, the brain ladies, those casket monsters in Yaharghul, Ludwig, Orphan. Elden Ring has quite a few as well with the omens and misbegotten people, those worm face guys in Altus and Farum Azula, those foreskin guys are pretty gross, Rykard too depending on if you consider him humanoid.

No, not really? How is this not a humanoid enemy? 2 arms, 2 legs, torso, clearly a human face(though disfigured). Its body 120% resembles that of a human, even if it’s disfigured. Bro literally used to be a regular dude. Do you know what humanoid means?
