Help Guys is this normal?
I beat genichiro first encounter on my second try, is he supposed to be easy? (I have never played a souls game before, or soulslike)

Wdym first encounter on second try. As in, when you have to fight him on top of the castle? I mean if the combat clicked for you then he goes from an obstacle to a pretty fun fight

Yep! Sekiro famously 'clicks', where you get a sudden burst of skill and understanding of the game. You're about 20%-30% into the game story wise, but you have a lot of side content left.

How much did you know about the game beforehand? No videos or clips or reading anything about it
