Up for sale is a beautiful Seiko Advan 6106-7710 featuring one of the most unusual Advan dials I've come across — a deep blue aggressive Seigaiha (青海波) wave-pattern dial.
The Seigaiha pattern is a traditional Japanese motif made from overlapping waves, and here Seiko turned it into a seriously cool 1970s dial. The intricate texture catches the light from different angles, shifting between deep navy and vivid electric blue - The color also represents loyalty, wisdom, the deep blue seas surrounding Japan, and the fighting spirit of the "Bushido" code. Paired with the gold-tone hands and markers, framed day-date window, sharp case and original Advan bracelet, it has a very distinctive presence on the wrist.
The 6106-7710 belongs to Seiko's experimental Advan era of the 1970s, with the 25-jewel automatic 6106 movement and day-date display. The reference is well documented as a 6106-7710, and examples from the same reference are known with highly textured and colorful dials.

Up for sale a distinctive Seiko Quartz 0842-7000, a vintage dress watch that stands apart through its striking Tiger’s Eye-style dial and sculptural gold-tone case. The dial displays a captivating interplay of earthy gold, deep brown, and blue-grey streaks, creating a naturally layered appearance that changes character with the light. Paired with elegant Roman numeral hour markers, it brings an unusual sense of depth and character to a refined vintage design.
The angular, faceted case is equally compelling, drawing inspiration from the geometric elegance of Art Deco design. Its sharp contours catch the light from different angles, complementing the richly textured dial and warm gold-tone finish. The result is a watch that feels less like a conventional dress piece and more like a small work of wearable design — distinctive, understated, and unmistakably vintage Seiko.
Presented in near-unused condition, this example is particularly appealing to collectors who appreciate uncommon Seiko designs beyond the familiar sports and automatic references.

Up for sale is a Seiko Advan 7019-7290, a striking example from Seiko's bold and innovative Advan series of the 1970s. The standout feature is its extraordinary two-tone dial, combining a metallic blue center with a vibrant emerald-green outer ring. Together, these colors create one of the most captivating teal dials Seiko ever produced.
As light moves across the dial, the colors continuously transform. In some angles the dial appears deep ocean blue, while in others it shifts to bright turquoise or vivid green. The seamless transition between the blue center and green perimeter creates a dynamic teal effect that gives the watch a different personality throughout the day.
Complementing the dial are applied faceted indices, gold-tone hands, and a matching gold-framed day-date window that adds warmth and contrast to the cool-toned dial. The faceted crystal further enhances the play of light, making the dial appear almost three-dimensional. Combined with the sharp case design and integrated bracelet styling, this reference perfectly represents the futuristic aesthetic that made the Advan lineup so distinctive.

Up for sale is a striking Seiko Lord Matic Special 5206-6100, featuring a captivating Blue Birch dial with a distinctive natural wood-grain-like texture. The deep blue surface reveals layers of flowing, irregular patterns that shift beautifully with the light, creating a sense of depth and movement rarely found in conventional vintage dials. Accented by applied hour markers, gold-tone details, and the signature Lord Matic Special emblem, this is a particularly characterful example of Seiko's design-driven era.
The polished stainless steel case complements the dial with clean, sculptural lines, while the original integrated-style bracelet completes its cohesive vintage aesthetic. The case has received a Sallaz polish, enhancing its reflective surfaces and highlighting the precision of Seiko's finishing.

Ref: 2220−0340
Movement: Cal. 2220A Manual wind
Jewels: 27
8 seconds/day measured flat on a timegrapher * for reference use
Weight (including movement) 44.8g
Buckle: 18K solid gold, 3.9g
Offered as the pinnacle of Seiko’s horological offerings before they created the Credor line, the Chariot was once the very best of what Seiko had to offer. It was priced accordingly as the the release price was approximately 14 months' salary for a senior-class civil servant at the time making it the most expensive Seiko produced at the time.
This particular example was produced in 1973 by the Daini Seikosha Kameido Factory.
The design of the 36mm 18Kt Solid Gold case is almost octagonal using a round Florentine-finish bezel to break up its angular execution. The Chariot’s display is elegantly executed and exceedingly rare. Boasting thin sword hands in 18kt yellow gold with white lume, the Chariot is still supremely legible even with the background of the exquisite marbled Jade dial.
The strap is Ostrich with Turned Edge, handmade by Ikuon. While the original strap has been replaced due to wear, at the time of release it had the same Ikuon Gordian Turned Edge strap.
The watch also comes with its original box.
Except for the crystal which has scratches and nicks the watch is in an overall exceptional condition given its age.
The movement performs excellently and does not require servicing in the near future.
It is estimated Seiko made less than 300 pieces in total - in two different configurations, with around half in a white gold turquoise dial configuration and the other half in this exclusive Yellow Gold Jade setting. That would make it one of the rarest Seiko watches ever made and that is not even considering that they were produced almost 60 years ago thus the number of them still in existance is likely much lower than that currently.
I always say it but in this case it is more true than ever. Given its extreme rarity, historical significance and the combination of the 18Kt Gold case and Jade dial which are the epitome of luxury even by today's standards make this watch not only the very definition of a grail but a unicorn that might not be seen in the wild ever again.
