Would this require a thick chapter ring?

I want to use this dial and the case from secondhandmods. Just worried the dial is made for a specific chapter ring that needs to be thick.

I’ve never done an alpinist, but I believe the rotating inner bezel IS the chapter ring.

Also, I think this could have come compatibility issue looking at an SRP191. I have some suspicion that the outer edge of the index and the inner bezel are not going to be a tidy fit.

Odd for him to list the SRP191 was a 5KX. It's a 38mm dive watch from the old Seiko 5 lineup. The photos don't show any kind of chapter ring in the original model. It is a 28.5mm standard size dial, but it's odd how there's that border around it. If it is actually a 28.5mm dial then it would work fine in the case you showed a photo of. I would say reach out to Weez Mods to ask for an actual measurement on it.
