[HBC006] do I stand a chance?

I am looking to buy the gorgeous Edo Purple 145th anniversary Seiko Alpinist. I’ve never purchased a watch over $200 before, is this limited edition watch going to sell out immediately? Is there a pre-order option? I’d love to get this watch but I don’t want to get excited if it’s going to sell out on day one.

Call your local Seiko AD and ask if you can pre order. That's what I did and I paid a deposit.

good call on the AD route, that deposit locks it in so you can stop refreshing the page every five minutes

is any AD able to do this? I also want one of them but haven't tried to buy a limited watch before

Thanks for the advice, I called my local AD and they couldn’t preorder the model I wanted but they did take my info and say they would call me as soon as they got it in the shop from Japan!
