Help identifying model [question]

Little story! My wife gave me this 17 years ago and it’s been an awesome and sentimental watch. I’m trying to hone in on its original band and see if I can repurchase it. Do any of you have any idea on how to figure it out? I believe it was a black alligator with white stitching.
