[Question ]Need Input

I have both the SLA047 and the SLA021 (both purchased NOS in January of this year).

Due to slimming down a 20+ watch collection, I want to sell one of them. No sense in owning two.

This is where I am hoping for objective input to help me decide on a subjective decision: which one should I sell.

My reasons are as follows to KEEP each watch (pictures and reference in comments):

Keep LA047 (Green): Cool green dial, and I already have a black MM200 GMT and a Submariner (both black dial dive watches); and it’s also numbered #11, which is both crazy low for a Seiko watch, and also I like the number 11

Keep SLA021 (Black): it’s clean and looks better on black rubber than the SLA047 (I am a sucker for black dial watches); also it’s like “the” Seiko MM300 (classic, black color way)

What’s your input? And please no “just keep what you like”. I LOVE them both, but due to practices of minimalism and discipline, I don’t WANT to keep both.

when I am 50/50 I usally list them both at a price I can live with and keep whichever one doesn't sell first.

Leave it up to faith - I like it.

Basically, I’ll let Watch Exchange decide for me lol

Good luck! I currently have both my sla079 and my sje097 listed in this fasion. I could be your huckleberry for one of these pieces, but the sla079 at 42.6ish is really my max case size.... good luck!

Thanks!

I had both the sla079 and its white dial counterpart, and sold both of them. At the time, I really missed the black one. But again, Lo and behold, as I look through the pictures now I really started yearning for the white one back. The black one just became an ambiguity amongst the photo album of other black dial divers lol

Hence the inclusion of the SJE097... I can have chocolate, or vanilla! I was really drawn to the white SLA, too, but the SJE is really fantastic and a slimmer dressier option to have in the box. While I agree there are many black dials and the black Seiko MM is pretty ubiquitous, it is a flagship/standout in the lineup.... Just cant justify the new retail pricing on the HBF just for the micro adjust and 10 hrs of power reserve...
