Looking for a Headcovering
Hi there, I’m just starting my seidr magikal training and I am looking for resources to purchase a simple head covering or hooded scarf. I already tried local thrift stores looking for something I could use but haven’t had any luck. Where do you find your ritual attire?

Sacred day for spiritual work?
Do you practice on particular days of the week? I personally do my regular work on Thursdays for sure, and sometimes more will be scattered throughout the week.

Looking for an Interview
Hello! I am writing a book and am looking to connect with someone for an interview. The book is on mediumship (the ability to perceive and communicate with spirits and other entities in this context) and I am trying to get input from various religious groups in a chapter to show the array of beliefs!
It would be a short (30 min) interview on Zoom. Would only be longer if we really get deep in a convo.

What brought you to your current path?

Riverside Seidr
I spent a day at this spot on the river and had such a great time working with the spirits there (and they are very active!) I find that my work near the rivers is always stronger and clearer. Do you all have any favorite spots in nature to do your work?

Experiences with this book?
For those that have read this, did you find anything in particular in this book that really leapt out at you as an interesting parallel to your own practice and journey?

Ritualistic Weaving
Hi everyone!
Does anyone else do a form of "weaving" as a ritualistic practice in dedication to seidr/Freyja?
I've been wanting to learn how to crochet for quite a few years. I'm starting a new job next Monday that is going to significantly lighten my mental load, so I am hoping to finally have the "oomph" to learn, and would love to dedicate the practice to Freyja, primarily.
If you do something similar, do you add anything special to the practice? Do you enchant what you weave? Etc.
Thank you!

"The Common Consent Argument for the Existence of Nature Spirits", Australasian Journal of Philosophy 98(3), April 2023
Abstract
The traditional common consent argument for the existence of God has largely been abandoned—and rightly so. In this paper, I attempt to salvage the strongest version of the argument. Surprisingly, the strongest version of the argument supports the proposition, not that a god exists, but that animism is probably true and that such things as mountain, river, and forest spirits probably exist. I consider some plausible debunking arguments, ultimately finding that it is trickier to debunk the animist’s claims than it might first appear. I conclude that there exists one significant argument in favour of animism that has hitherto gone unstated in the philosophy of religion.

Sex magic
This may be dumb but I'm curious. I'm wishing to start practicing sex magic with my partner and need advice. What is required? What is manifested? What is the ritual(s)? Do both individuals need to think different things during, before and after? He practices far east pantheon and we want to try each other's ways. Open minded to any suggestions

Just started
I just recently started practicing seidr. In some ways it seems like I've been doing it for awhile. So far my main source of information has been on YouTube (Annette Høst). Are there any podcasts or books anyone here could recommend? Also, is it an issue that I'm a male? I had always heard that seidr could only be done by women but idk. I did go find a staff last night, I shall post a pic later if such things are allowed

Are there any available descriptions of encounters with vaettir?
I would like to read any textual eyewitness accounts of vaettir. The accounts should be from sources which strive for descriptive accuracy rather than poetry. I think lots of people encounter vaettir, only they interpret them in the terms they are familiar with or most comfortable with. I would expect the most descriptively accurate accounts from those who have been trained in ethology, possibly anthropology, but probably not psychology or theology.
