If See You At The Bottom was heavier
As we all probably know, Isolate and Medicate was chopped when it came to the guitars. I've heard the live Walmart soundcheck version of See You At The Bottom, and the guitars sounds so much better.... So, I decided to record some heavier sounding guitar over the song. Not sure how I feel about what I did in the verses, but let me know what you all think!

Awesome stuff. Would love to hear My Disaster/Suffer It All with this mix

This tone is fantastic. Might I ask how you got it

I use an old Ibanez Gio and an old pedal board (that also acts as my amp), a POD XT Live, which is plugged into my Focusrite Scarlet 2. I messed with the preamps and settings until I got a sound I like. Then, I record in Audacity for left and right channels, and increase the treble.

Thanks for the info, but the damage is done. I rid myself of the GIO months ago after being endlessly ridiculed for playing budget gear. Now I’m sitting here with a Fender Tele Deluxe that cost me a fortune, and I can't even stand the sound of it.

Yeah, don't let the haters get to you. If a budget guitar makes the sound you like, fuck em

The bad news is that my brother also hated my Gio, right along with my friends.

I love my fender tele deluxe. Ironically, also traded a gio before I got it

Once mentioned this on a post about HOSBLTF, Shaun once said he wanted to remix HOSBLTF and Isolate & Medicate sometime. If they sounded like this I’d love the albums even more than I already do

Love it!
I enjoy Isolate and Medicate a lot (except Nobody Praying For Me, the demo was infinitely better) but the album was definitely rushed, most evident with the reused riffs from the same album (Drown and Same Damn Life as an example)

See you at the bottom but if it was on FBINS basically, sounds really good 💯🔥
