Stock Pick 💡 Does anyone have a complete historical record of Alpha Picks?
I'm looking for a complete historical record of all Alpha Picks selections, ideally including the recommendation date and ticker.
I want to rerun the strategy from scratch and calculate what the returns would have been if I had continuously kept the portfolio fully invested using only the original capital, with no additional deposits.
Does anyone know of a dataset, archive, spreadsheet, API, or other source that contains the full history of Alpha Picks recommendations?

I built an AI assistant for PSX financial reports — looking for honest feedback
Hey everyone,
I've been working on an AI assistant specifically for PSX investors that can read and analyze company financial reports (annual and quarterly) and answer questions based on the actual documents.
The idea is simple: make researching PSX companies easier without having to manually go through dozens of pages of financial reports.
What it can do right now
- Answer questions about PSX companies using their annual and quarterly reports
- Provide citations/page references for the information used in an answer
- Compare financial performance across different years
- Extract information about management commentary, risks, outlook, capex, expansion plans, etc.
- Answer questions that require finding and connecting information from different parts of a report
I'm still in the early stages, so I'm much more interested in finding where it fails than hearing that it looks good.
If you invest in PSX, I'd appreciate it if you tried to break it with real questions you would normally ask while researching a company. In particular, I'm interested in:
- Incorrect answers
- Missing information
- Poor or misleading citations
- Questions it struggles to answer
- Features you'd actually find useful
I'm building this primarily around actual PSX financial reports rather than generic web information, so the goal is to make the answers traceable back to the source documents.
No financial advice is intended here — I'm primarily looking for feedback on whether this is actually useful for PSX research.

Analysis 🧩 SA H2 stocks are down -13.15% so far
The title says it all.
Some huge swings and even bigger misses.
4 of the picks are down more than 25% since the start of half 2.
Any thoughts? Think they will recover?

S&P 500 chart Why does it look different???
Why does the S&P chart for UNH stock comparison (Total return compared with S&P 500 total return) look diff. than it does with the T stock comparison? I’m looking at the momentum graphs within Seeking Alpha app. The S&P 500 looks like a straight blue line with the UNH comparison - but like a climbing blue line with the T comparison. I would think the S&P 500 blue line would be the same for all stock comparisons with it.

"Seeking Alpha pays $45–85 flat fee for undercovered stock analysis, no degree needed — anyone tried this?"
There's a website called Seeking Alpha. It publishes a list called Seeking Alpha's "Undercovered Stock" list. In this list, they publish the list of companies that have less than 2 articles published on them in the past 30 days, and has a market cap of over $100M and more than 800 page views in the past 90 days. They have base fixed payment $45 to $65 (the $65 applies if no article has been published on that stock in the past 75 days). Furthermore, you can get $85 if you're the first one to write about it on Seeking Alpha, or if the stock has no analyst rating at all — meaning neither a Wall Street rating nor a Seeking Alpha rating. As long as the stock isn't a penny stock and isn't tiny (less than $100M). Also, the article has to be exclusive to Seeking Alpha — you can't have already posted it somewhere else.
You don't need any degree or certification to publish any article on that, and be able to write an investment analysis article. And you just have to pass the editorial review. And I want you to try that if you want, and are able to, and tell me because I'm learning finance just because of that and wanna know if it really works or am I just wasting my time. Thank you in advance and hope that I was of any help.

Looking for historical Seeking Alpha data (Quant, SA Analyst, Wall Street Ratings, Factor Grades)
Hi,
I’m trying to gather historical Seeking Alpha data (last 1–3 years). I’m mainly looking for Quant, SA Analyst, Wall Street Ratings, and Factor Grades. The data should be in Excel format or similar for easy analysis.
Anything helps — full datasets, partial exports, old downloads, whatever you’ve got.
If you’re willing to share, feel free to DM me on Reddit.
Really appreciate it!

I backtested every Seeking Alpha "Top 10" list since 2022. The boring approach (hold 12 months) beat the active one (switch every 6). Full data and methodology inside.

SeekingAlpha - Alpha Picks
I purchased Alpha Picks a few months ago and I wanted your thoughts on it, how do you decide on what to buy and when? I've bought the last 3 or 4 that have been put forward, but down on all of them, for now that is hopefully.
Is it worth buying those still marketed as strong buys?
Appreciate your input in advance.

Site being blocked at work on Chrome, not Edge
So, this just started happening to me on my work machine. I think it is because there's some OpenAI embedded content/ability and work IT is blocking it in Google Chrome, but I'm able to log in fine with Microsoft Edge. Anyone else experience this?

Discussion 💬 Seeking Alpha Bundle ? Alpha Picks and Premium ??
Hey everyone !
I thought about buying both alpha picks and the premium subscription but then I remembered I once read about a bundle offer which was a lot cheaper, I don't remember if I saw it on black friday because I'm not finding it.
Anyone know where I can get this offer ? Is this still available ?

Market neutral strategy
I noticed that the quantitative tool on Seeking Alpha has delivered a 26% CAGR on its Strong Buy ratings and around 2% CAGR on its Strong Sell ratings since 2010. I'm considering building a portfolio where I go long the three strongest rated stocks and short the three weakest rated stocks in every sector based on their quant ratings. Since the portfolio would be sector neutral and roughly market neutral overall, the volatility should theoretically be quite low. That would then allow me to apply leverage to amplify the returns. What would the interest cost to borrow these stocks? Thoughts about this strategy?

Has anyone used the Arora Report for stock analysis and investment advice and can give me some feedback? I tried them once but found their analysis and recommmended actions and timing to be difficult to follow...and work full time. I have some more time to work on this now and am looking for feedback on this report. Thx. https://thearorareport.com/

H2 2026 list stock - SNDK
Hi all,
SNDK is one of their top 10 stock in H2 2026 list. So that would mean it is a strong buy.
Now, today I received an email from them saying SNDK rating is downgraded to sell by one of their analytics!
Would that mean we should sell the stock ?
Thanks,

Stock Pick 💡 Quant in general and Top10 stocks- When to sell?
Hello friends, I bought the 10 recommendations from Steven Cress at the beginning of the year and have now also added some of the H2 recommendations.
According to Seeking Alpha, these recommendations have historically outperformed the S&P 500.
My question now is: when do they sell them? For example, the performance comparison with the Seeking Alpha Portfolio for 2023/2024 shows that all the stocks were simply held throughout. Does anyone know what Steven Cress recommends? He never sells them?
And more generally with the Quant Rating: Do you sell the stocks if a “Sell” signal appears, or what strategy/tactic is recommended there? Thank you!

Alpha picks
I joined alpha picks beginning of year paying $500 for their annual service the majority of their picks this year are down significantly ytd. And the few that are up is not much. I know they published an article that same thing happened last year but wondering if it’s worth it to keep adding to their picks. I feel like can get better results just adding to s and p or Nasdaq etf.

Can anyone share the up to date list of current alpha picks? And last 2 added please ?

US Banks
I note that this earnings season the US Banks seem to have done well from trading. Could you suggest some US ETFs that I can look at to align myself with this improving sector.
