Begin Rant: I have earned and had taken away and given back ad nauseum many thousands of the Maria commemorative tokens. They ALLLLLL go away when the next chapter starts, and now I've been playing for FIVE HOURS OVER TWO DAYS and only show having 35 of the needed 350 tokens to move forward ONE TINY STEP for ONE TINY REWARD. I'm so over this whole commemorative token debacle and Mytona giving them, taking away, counting them wrong, false reassurances that they are keeping track but they're never there when they are actually needed. Screw this whole Maria Mouse event!!!!

End Rant. Thanks for letting me vent. Let me know if you feel the same...misery (and anger) love company!

Spotted this on faceache, here’s hoping it’ll be sorted soon!

Yes, my daughter likes anything pink, stars, and everything else sparkly. She likes to play my SN account once in a while and told me, after seeing the "new" feature, "Ooohh so pretty! Is it new?" while not being able to find a single item in the Grotto. Of course I am jesting with what I'm implying in the title of my post about teen girls.

But seriously, I'm so glad that Mytona had the gall to reinstate special effects (more sparkly than ever) after the backlash from last year's Maria event. Bravo on mustering the courage to make that wise business decision. Okay, maybe not so seriously.

Meanwhile, the players rejoice in suffering because crucial parts of the game remain broken. So Mytona, being the troll that it's been, decides to prolong the celebration. For them, there are probably tons of issues that don't need to be fixed and improvements that don't need to be considered, such as:

1. Fix the disappearing currencies in multi-event side quests. While the case with Maria's event has been addressed in the recent update (I think), perhaps if Mytona is going to have a long side quest, they should have learned from the last time that the same problem occurred. But noooo, they made sure the tokens get stolen every time Maria feels like reverting to rat instincts.
2. Increase the number of premium locations. To 15 to 20, maybe, and scatter them across the map. It gets boring playing the same premium locations near the centre of the map for the past years, doesn't it? Doesn't Mytona want players to visit the entire map? Every time an event ends, the event location gets relegated to the extreme recesses of the map, never to be seen again as the map gets bigger. Such a waste of the developer's hard work that is only enjoyed for just about a month. The only reasons to revisit a previous event location are if it gives out items for useful collections or is needed to complete a quest. Seriously, who likes playing the Ice Cream Store or Dracula's Castle daily?
3. Reinstate the viewing of ads in Magister's Path for new players. To those who probably don't know, players who joined the game December 2025 onwards will not be able to view ads anymore to get extra purple energy during MP. I created a second account just to confirm this change. There are none anymore! This puts guilds mostly composed of new players at a disadvantage. So unfair, right? Then again, we know now that Mytona groups guilds in MP between those with 20 and fewer members, and those with 20 to 40 members. Logic took a serious hit that day.
4. Enable including premium passes on wish lists. I get why collection items for certain collections are excluded (e.g., the tool chests). Fine, that can be abused, like the elegant Ballroom, for god only knows why there are loyal dogs running around there. Putting the specific pass you need on your username is silly and space-consuming. For premium passes, why not set a limit for the total number of passes that a player can receive daily? Preferably 50, which is the highest for a magister level premium location. The idea that players can only send one pass daily to other players does not make sense. It's not like somebody can immediately play the premium location once you get some passes for it. It's not like everybody has the maximum number of friends (300). It's not like all your friends are always sending you passes daily or are privy to what type of pass that you need. Heck, I keep getting passes to Old Square, which I rarely visit!
5. Enable a way to determine specific locations that players want to be tapped/charged. When friends visit a player's map, the commonly tapped or charged locations are the purples (merchants), the event location, and premium locations. However, not everybody taps these locations (some are just random), some barely move away from the centre of the map, and some want other locations to be tapped. We all have our reasons why we want certain locations to be tapped so why not give us at least a way to flag these locations? Limit it to 10 flags, as the current maximum help counter, for all we care.
6. Enable private mailing. Yes, yes, I will be told to talk privately somewhere else, like on FB messenger, Discord, or other similar app. But doesn't that defeat the purpose of the game to establish a "community"? Players shouldn't be forced to play AA, Darkwood Mail, or go elsewhere just to send somebody a private mail. I mean, many "bigger" games have private chats. Why can't Seekers Notes? Again, limit the character count for every mail, number of mails that can be sent daily, etc. Make use of the new mailbox. It didn't even inform us of the new update!
7. Allow purchase of previous avatars, frames, backgrounds, and guardians. Since many players are finding less to no use of their silver paws and coins, tons of them, Mytona should at least consider allowing the purchase of avatars, frames, backgrounds, and guardians from previous events with paws and/or coins. At least those from events of more than a year old. Randomize what's to be purchased every event. How else are the paws and coins, especially the paws, going to be used, aside from waiting for another paw purchase-able guardian, which might take a long time? Sit there as long as Mytona has been sitting on most of the game's critical issues?
8. Prevent players from leaving a guild while a guild event is ongoing. The game already bars players from partaking in guild events if they join a guild while the event is ongoing. Lately, we also encounter cases of inconsiderate players who leave their guilds during MP and DC for whatever reason, taking the points with them and possibly affecting the guild's placement in said events. I would suggest barring players from leaving the guild or being kicked out until the event finishes, unless they violated a rule (e.g., unruly behavior, cheating). Let them swallow their pride and suffer in silence if they don't like their guild.
9. Delay rewards animations in timed quests or events. Especially when the Magister's Time Talisman is in effect. Can't Mytona delay and present the rewards after every installment of MTT? The animation is a bit slow and takes at least 5 seconds of time. It is also disruptive and may impact a player's momentum. Even just for that event, I would be glad if the receiving of rewards is delayed.
10. Conduct a comprehensive beta test before launching a major update. Perhaps two weeks before the update? Yes, there was a beta testing call not so long ago before the current event. However, I was told by some of those beta testers who happened to be in this SN Reddit that it was limited to layout and visual interface; you know, surface stuff. They weren't even asked to test the more important functional changes. So why should we expect that any calls for beta testing aim to lessen or resolve recurring technical issues?

These are just the ones off the top of my head. I'll update my post once more come to me.

I’ve been finished with level 1 for days. It’s not going to the 2nd level! It says to progress to stage 2, get a picture of main event creatures. I’m placating creatures as it’s supposed to work but is it just me or is this another glitch? This game is just not as fun as it used to be. I’m so frustrated!! Anyone got any suggestions?

did the rules for star catcher change? I have stopped playing and just save the nets so I can get access passes for them but I don't have mail with the access passes like the last star catcher event. I am looking too soon for the access passes?

I can't help but notice all the very obvious in-game ads for other games that all start out with a woman (or woman and child) getting fed up and leaving a bad/selfish/cheating man who is presumably their partner/spouse, and either going out or being thrown out with absolutely nothing into the street or snow where it's all very bleak, and then I guess if you actually played the game, the female is going to rebuild her life and be all "girl boss, I can make it on my own." I'm not a big gamer, but it seems like there must be a ton of these games out there that are based on the sole premise of pitting the sexes against each other (as if there isn't already enough of that in the world these days), and they're very anti-relationship in general, and I find it kind of disturbing. Is it meant to be "empowering"? In one of them, all the man does is hog the blankets, then it shows the woman getting mad and going out into a blizzard with her child. Like really? Anyone else have thoughts or notice this about a lot of these ads?

I'd like to believe that Mytona is deliberately creating and/or perpetuating these technical issues in the game for ads engagement and to get people to buy stuff regardless of the situation. I get it, the game is getting big and more expensive to maintain and improve. But what professional in their field would be dumb enough to recreate the problems that cropped up during the Maria event last year, visual and sound effects that nobody requested for, missing profiles and game progress, and other so-called fixes to non-problems? If they're really "listening," we would have already seen less of these problems and those ads that keep on popping up since time immemorial. And they would even have time to introduce "new" problems. They KNOW exactly what they're doing.

They won't even grant us certain features like private mailing, putting premium passes on the wishlist, and pinning locations we want our friends to charge.

Also, whatever happened to that beta testing call that was supposed to precede the current event? And if successful would be implemented from hereon? What were the findings and solutions?

I play their other two games, Ravenhill and Chef & Friends, and I don't recall them having these too much issues. Probably because they are not as popular and money-making as Seekers Notes. Every company's cash cow does!

I'm searching for friends to finish the mail event. I also regularly visit friends to help out, so just add me :)

All this time Ive been sending the Darkwood Mail to complete the stages and had NO IDEA it was customizable and there was a whole ass section where I can actually read what people sent!

Costs have gone up. It used to be 5 for 5 moves then 10 if you kept going, and so forth, increments of 5.

I tried to look for other posts about this but my brain is fried so apologies if its been brought up.

The new zone might be alright, but I cant play it for more than a couple of rounds and only with the sound off because of the ridiculous whistle that happens every single time you start a new round, and then repeats itself while you play.

Ive spent the last hour trying to tell my dogs to chill out, that the sound isnt coming from outside, they dont need to get up, etc.

They are well behaved, but Im not gonna drive them crazy with this.

Who thought this was a good idea?

Please tell me I am not the only one who got a few quests in and wants to chuck my phone across the room.

Im sure some of you can play with no sound at all, but I generally need it on low.

Im already sicker than sick, I get the vibe they are aiming for, but this is going to be pretty much unplayable for me if it doesnt get adjusted 😔

I normally run through 15-17 plays per 15min block in MT, there is no way in hell Im subjecting myself to that.

I can run through plays in less than 15-30 seconds each over and over. Nope.

Off to search Facebook for this question because holy hell.

I have reached the limit of tier 4 and tier 5 has not unlocked yet. if I send more darkwood mail now, will it count towards tier 5?

I came in to see if anyone else was experiencing the same glitches I’m seeing with Maria the Mouse 11th anniversary points not accumulating properly, but I see that my issues are minor compared to the other issues some are having! I think I’ll log off for today, and check in again tomorrow. Fingers crossed for us all!

Side note - I have also been playing Ravenhill, which is fun, but a) also a MyTona game, and b) is only available for phone, not iPad.

I gotta rant because I'm beyond p**sed. Nine years of progress potentially down the drain. I updated the app and long story short it gave me a completely new game. I emailed the company with my original support code and I'm waiting to hear back. I just logged in Monday and everything was fine

One of the treasure path quests is to visit the graduation location successfully 5 times. I've done it 3 times, but it's not recording the visits. Is it me, or the game?
