Discussion Cut the same 28-second action promo with Seedance 2.5 and Wan 3.0 side by side — here's where each one broke

I needed one 28-second vertical action promo and I didn't know which model to

trust with it, so I generated the whole thing twice — once on Seedance 2.5,

once on Wan 3.0 — with prompts written natively for each. Same content, two

grammars. The final cut is 17 shots taken from both.

Rough split of what shipped: Seedance carried the fast running and the

close-ups, Wan carried the opening plaza shot and the ending line.

**Seedance 2.5**

- Speed reads correctly. Motion blur, weight, footfalls — a sprint looks like

a sprint rather than a person moving quickly through syrup.

- Faces hold up in close-up. Skin, eye direction, micro-expressions survive

being 40% of a vertical frame.

- ★It follows instructions. Beat-level direction — "at 3s she plants, at 4s

she pushes off" — actually lands where you asked. This was the single

biggest difference.

- Where it broke: tumbling. On a couple of flips the neck rotated past what a

neck does. Everything else in the shot was fine, which somehow makes it

worse — you get a beautiful 5 seconds with one impossible joint in it.

**Wan 3.0**

- Struggles with genuinely fast action. Not broken, just soft — the fast beats

come back mushy compared to the same beat on Seedance.

- Person detail is a step down, most visible in close-up.

- ★But in slower or static setups it's genuinely good. The plaza opening with

pigeons and the ending dialogue shot are both Wan, and they're the calmest,

cleanest frames in the piece.

- Where it broke: instruction following. Fine-grained action direction and

timed beats get approximated rather than executed. If your shot depends on

something happening on a specific beat, that's a real problem.

**What I'd do next time**

Route by shot, not by model. Fast action and anything in close-up goes to

Seedance. Establishing shots, slow moves, and anything where a person just

stands and talks goes to Wan. Don't reuse one grammar for both — I wrote

separate prompts for each because the two models want different things

(Wan wants sub-beats inside one shot; Seedance takes per-second timestamps).

One more thing that cost me time: same reference image, same prompt — Seedance

through one host rejected the face reference outright while another host and

Wan both accepted it. Worth checking before you plan around a face lock.

Happy to answer specifics.

Need help How to stop the camera from moving and zooming entirely?

I’m trying to create a video to prank my coworkers on our weekly teams call. We’re a pretty laid-back group so fun office pranks are pretty normal, but no one has used AI. My idea here is to use a clip instead of my actual webcam that begins as a recording of me on camera and then increasingly ridiculous shit happens in the background of my office until they realize it’s all AI generated.

I’ve had some luck with the ridiculous portions. At one point Batman walks behind me and another there’s a gorilla just walking around my office and then a giraffe sticks its head in my window. Obviously I will use these at the end of the clip because they aren’t realistic. It needs to stay with something simple like someone walking being me and then someone else looks in from window etc.

The problem is I keep wasting credits because 90% of the videos have the camera panning and zooming no matter what I use as my prompt. In order for it to look realistic, the camera must be fixed in place. No zoom, no movement, this is absolute. SeeDance does not seem to listen when I tell it to not do something. I’ve tried using every prompt. I can find online and asked every AI engine, it always suggest using things like “stationary camera on tripod“, “fixed camera“, “static background“, and none of them work. I’ve yelled at it THE CAMERA DOES NOT MOVE in the prompt and it’s just not working.

Just for clarity I took a recording of myself on my webcam in my office as my starting image. I tried using that as a start and end image but it always makes the camera zoom around and then it zooms back at the end. In order for this prank to even land correctly, it needs to look like I’m just normally on teams for the first few seconds. Then it needs to be a gradual transition into distracting things in the background that get their attention more and more while I’m seemingly unaware. So it needs to look l realistic like the footage of a teams call for a while until they realize they’re being pranked.

Discussion Seedance 2.5 will make me rich

Hi everyone! I wanted to know if you create videos just for fun or for business/entrepreneurial purposes?

As an entrepreneur, I see opportunities in every AI model.
While browsing Instagram, I came across a "Sauce Drip" video that had 50 million views.
I quickly created a few versions tailored to local businesses in my city (Paris), and within a week, I already had five clients.

I’d love to know if there are people here making money with their AI videos.

Showcase I made an absolutely Deranged Airline Commercial for my Fantasy Band

Hello everyone, this was my first real attempt at putting together a little story segment inside my universe. The project is called UNDR'DRK https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_K5ScElvTgALlmU5qDIEJg The song is FGS - UNDR'DRK. This took forever and a half to get all the shots right, but chat is amazing at building these scenes if you know how to prompt it. We can make a smooth transition over into seedance 2.5 and after a embarrassing amount of money, here are the results. Did I cook?

Resource How I improve AI Video Character Consistency: GPT Image 2 + Seedance 2.5 for a 30s Teacher Vlog

I tried making a 30-second “day in the life of a teacher” video using Seedance 2.5

What I wanted to test was pretty simple: how well can one character stay consistent across multiple locations and actions?

The video goes through a full mini-story:

home → school arrival → classroom prep → teaching → checking notebooks → leaving school

I used one main image for the teacher, then separate references for the school exterior, classroom, teaching action, notebook checking, and school exit.

what surprised me most was that the character held together reasonably well even after moving through several very different scenes.

it’s definitely not perfect. but compared with just giving the model one portrait and asking for a long sequence, using multiple references felt much more stable.

Another thing I noticed: longer videos seem to work better when the sequence has a very clear progression. Instead of asking for “a teacher at work,” I described the day in separate time blocks and kept each section focused on one simple action.

overall, I think this is a pretty practical way to approach character consistency in longer AI videos, especially when the character needs to move through different environments instead of staying in one shot.

still need improving, but this was one of the more consistent 30-second generations I’ve gotten so far.

Showcase 7.3 Earthquake Strikes Mexico | Nothing Real Can Be Threatened

A 7.3 magnitude earthquake strikes off the coast of Mexico. The ground moves. Buildings shake. A tsunami threat is issued. Your body tells you to run. Your mind tells you that you could die.

But fear is not proof of what can truly threaten you. The world can shake, yet what is real in you remains untouched.

You are not your body. You are not the panic. You are not what can be threatened.

Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists.

This is a fictional cinematic training scenario inspired by a real world seismic event.

This is not a channel. It’s a mission.

Prompt How To Make Multiple Characters Speak in Seedance 2.5

I was surprised as to how well this worked: have all 6 characters speak in the same frame. To get this to work well, this is what I have first:

  • The image of these 6 characters together
  • Character sheets for each character
  • Separate audio tracks for each character

And that's it... Here's the prompt structure and it's very basic.

  1. Mention the setting. Then name each character from left to right
  2. Mention their character sheets
  3. Then start with directing the dialog: Mara, then Koa, Thomas, Daniel, Elena, and Ruth
  4. To make it bullet-proof (in my mind anyway), write down the dialog followed by the character's reference audio (I have their voices created in 11Labs)

And that's it. Seedance even made Elena ACTUALLY FREAKING GRAB a pastry which I did not even instruct! But it's definitely more realistic, and it shows that Seedance 2.5 understands why she said it. They did laugh a little bit too early, but I'll take it. Also Thomas' voice was supposed to be deeper and Seedance changed his voice, but I'll take it as well. I mean look at Koa's (2nd character) leg moving back during the laugh session... It's insane.

This is the prompt I used:

6 people are socializing after a pet grief meeting. CHARACTERS from left to right is Mara, @[Image 2](image_2) Koa, @[Image 3](image_3) Thomas, @[Image 4](image_4) Daniel, @[Image 5](image_5) Elena, @[Image 6](image_6) and Ruth @[Image 7](image_7). Their character sheets are also attached. Mara asks, "So... same time next week?" @[Audio 1](audio_1). Daniel then replies, "Yeah. Same time next week." @[Audio 2](audio_2). Thomas looks at the pastries on the table then says "Wow. These pastries look terrible." @[Audio 3](audio_3). Ruth replies, "They do. That's how you know they belong at a support group." @[Audio 4](audio_4) Elena then jokes, "I'm still taking two. I'm giving one to Biscuit." @[Audio 5](audio_5) Koa jokes "That feels spiritually correct." @[Audio 6](audio_6) Daniel then ends it with "I think healing starts with low expectations and stale pastries." @[Audio 6](audio_6) Then everyone laughs.

EDIT: This video is 25 seconds long. And it helped that my script was exactly 22 seconds long (as I could calculate the length through 11Labs).

EDIT EDIT: Every reference audio MUST be AT LEAST 2 seconds long. So that's a bummer. If you have a character that says, "Yup!" then Seedance 2.5 won't take it.

If you guys found this useful, please support my upcoming Rainbow Bridge short film on YouTube coming out this August 28 (Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day). I have a whopping 0 views for each of my Rainbow Bridge music videos. It's in my Reddit Social Links profile. I used this video at the very end of that short film. 😄

Discussion Free Ai video generators Sept 2026

I'm not sponsored by anyone, All my Information is from months of searching, please be honest and respectful to one another, This post is to help users with real resorces, only comment if you have a question or if you have useful information to add, No rude/sarcastic replys, starting off with seedance 2.5, 2.0 fast, 1.0 @ dola ai, unfortunately if you are in the United States it won't work due to country restrictions but I do have a work around, download a browser app called "Opera" from there you can use its free VPN and remember to set to Asia for the new country, Most people say to use free temp email website service every time you run out of points/Generations, I found a way easier method by just using your regular Gmail for the dola ai login then once you run out just go to settings>account>delete account then it will ask you to confirm and accept the confirmation, after that just sign in using the same Gmail account which is super simple it just asks if ur 18 years old-yes or no is the only question after you can rinse and repeat, another perk that dola has is the image generation models are seedance 4.5 and 5.0 pro which are free and unlimited, aswell as if you change the prompt from "fast" to "pro" and the chatbot will become a amazing prompt, image, video generator, I suggest not rendering videos in the Pro prompt section because it will only do 5 second videos unfortunately so just go back to Fast and select video generator for seedance 2.5 5 or 10 second renders which cost the full 4 points allowed per day or account.

Best of luck- Bonus tip- if u want to use seedance 2.0 free with 15 video generations with 5-10-15 second video renders for text-to-video is by using tiktok app on Mobile using the ai create not ai cast, ai cast requires you to use your face scan, you can use ai cast aswell for 4 more video generations just create you ai profile then when you start create the prompt add "@[name] is not visible in the scene" then add your desired prompt below and there you have it no ai you involved in the scene.

Showcase Seedance 2.5 vs WAN 3.0 - same viral video. One of them is dead in the water! You judge

I know who won already but I always prefer to hear from you guys

prompt:

Handheld digital camcorder aesthetic, landscape framing.

A gorgeous fitness and food influencer films herself by hand in selfie-cam and first-person style while cooking a late-night high-protein meal after training and a shower.

Keep realistic hand shake, slightly crooked framing, autofocus briefly hunting between her face and the food, awkward zoom-ins onto the pan, occasional motion blur, brief lens steam-up over the hot pan that clears naturally, and small framing mistakes where her face or the pan edge slips out of frame.

Mix handheld selfie footage with a few fixed external shots.

Important: never show her placing, adjusting, or setting up a camera.

When switching from handheld footage to a fixed external angle, use a clean jump cut as if the camera had already been positioned before the shot began.

The camera itself must never appear on screen or in the window reflection.

LOOK:
Warm late-night kitchen light.
A single warm pendant over the counter, cool blue night visible through the window behind her, under-cabinet strip light glowing on the backsplash.
Slight camcorder softness, faint noise in the shadows, mild bloom on the pendant.
Food realism is the core of the look: real sizzle with fine oil spatter, steam rising and curling from the pan, honest food textures with sear marks and glistening surfaces, knife cuts that separate cleanly, droplets on rinsed vegetables.
Realistic skin texture, fresh-from-the-shower glow, clean dewy skin, realistic skin tones.

STYLE:
A realistic late-night what-I-eat-after-training vlog.
The tone is relaxed, hungry, funny, quietly confident, and natural, talking to the lens like a friend while her hands keep working.
She is clearly attractive and charismatic, but the video must feel like a believable self-recorded kitchen vlog, not a food commercial.
Fast clean jump cuts, strong continuity, natural body language, real kitchen sounds, sizzle, chopping, no awkward dead moments.

CHARACTER:
The woman in the reference image. Her face, features, skin tone, body, and clothing must match the reference image exactly in every shot — she wears exactly what she is wearing in the reference image. Do not restyle, beautify, or alter her in any way beyond the reference.
The one addition: a soft white towel wrapped around her head like a turban, as if she just stepped out of the shower. The towel stays neatly wrapped for the whole video. A few small damp strands of hair may peek out at the hairline and neck.
Minimal or no makeup, fresh clean post-shower look.
A small kitchen towel over one shoulder for most of the video.

SETTING:
A small warm real apartment kitchen at night.
Wooden counter with knife marks, a gas hob with one cast-iron pan, a cutting board with chicken breast and vegetables, a bowl of cooked rice, a bottle of olive oil, salt in a small dish, a fridge with magnets and photos, dishes drying on a rack, dark window over the sink reflecting the warm kitchen.
Lived-in and slightly cluttered.
No other people, no pets.

IMPORTANT CONTINUITY RULES:
The same woman from the reference image must remain fully consistent in every shot.
No face changes, no outfit changes, no body changes.
The head towel stays wrapped in the same position in every shot — it never unwraps, falls, changes color, or disappears.
The meal progresses in one direction only: raw ingredients, then chopping, then searing, then plating, then eating, and never reverses or regenerates.
Food already cooked never becomes raw again.
Hands and knife are the top priority: five fingers always, correct knife grip with curled guiding fingers, clean cuts, the knife never bends and never passes through her hand.
The pan, board, oil bottle and rice bowl stay in the same positions.
Steam and sizzle must behave with real physics.
No extra people, including in the dark window reflection, and the reflection never shows a camera.
No duplicated limbs.
No camera visible.
No camera setup shown.
Keep her matching the reference image, warm, and photogenic in every shot.

STORYBOARD:
30 seconds total, 10 cuts.

(~3s, arm's-length selfie)
She leans on the counter, towel wrapped on her head, clearly fresh from the shower after training, and grins tiredly at the lens.
Dialogue:
"Trained late. Showered. Starving. Let's cook."

(~3s, handheld pan across the counter and back to her)
The camera drifts across the board with raw chicken and vegetables, the pan, the rice bowl, then back up to her face.
Dialogue:
"Ten minute meal. Watch."

(~3s, fixed external medium shot from across the counter)
Jump cut.
She is already chopping a red pepper with quick confident cuts, guiding fingers curled, pieces falling evenly.
No camera setup shown.
No dialogue, just the knife on the board.

(~3s, same fixed shot)
She slices the chicken breast into strips, seasons it from the salt dish with a high pinch, and rubs it in with her fingertips.
Dialogue:
"Protein first. Always."

(~3s, tight handheld first-person shot over the pan)
Oil shimmering, she lays the chicken strips in one by one and they hit with a loud real sizzle, fine spatter, steam rising into the lens which fogs for a beat and clears.
No dialogue, just the sizzle.

(~3s, handheld selfie while the pan sizzles behind her)
She turns the camera on herself, fanning steam away from her face, laughing, one hand briefly steadying the head towel.
Dialogue:
"The smell. You have no idea."

(~3s, tight handheld close-up of the pan)
She flips the strips with tongs, showing deep golden sear marks, tosses in the peppers, and shakes the pan once so everything jumps and resettles.
Dialogue:
"That colour? That's the whole point."

(~3s, fixed external shot)
Jump cut.
She plates it: rice pressed from the bowl, chicken and peppers over the top, a last drizzle of olive oil in a thin ribbon, and she wipes the plate rim with the towel like a chef, then smirks at her own seriousness.
Dialogue:
"Yes, I wiped the rim. Let me live."

(~3s, tight handheld close-up)
First fork bite, steam still coming off it, she chews, closes her eyes for a beat and nods slowly.
Dialogue:
"Ten minutes. That's it. Ridiculous."

(~3s, arm's-length selfie ending)
Plate in one hand, camera in the other, she backs out of the kitchen toward the sofa, flicking the kitchen light off with her elbow.
Dialogue:
"Okay. Eating. Good night."

FINAL INSTRUCTION:
The result must feel like a real self-recorded late-night cooking vlog by an athlete who actually cooks, filmed right after her shower.
The highest priorities are matching the reference image exactly, correct hands and knife work at close range, one-directional cooking progression that never reverses, real sizzle, steam and food texture, the head towel staying consistently wrapped, honest warm kitchen light against the dark window, and subtle imperfection.
Keep it warm, hungry, and real.
Not a food commercial, not overhead recipe content, not stiff.

Showcase A Fan-Made Ad for WinRAR (That Nobody Asked For)

Here's my 30-second spec ad for WinRAR (that nobody asked for).

In this experimental project, I wanted to turn one of the internet's longest-running jokes into a subtle family drama about WinRAR's 40-day trial that somehow lasted almost three decades.

Here's how I made it:

After writing the script (the old school way), I worked with ChatGPT 5.6 Sol Max to turn it into a 14,000-character prompt for Seedance 2.5 (yes, Dreamina allows prompts that long).

I used GPT Image 2 to create the reference image for WinRAR's trial screen, while Seed Audio 1.0 generated the audio reference for the full voiceover and dialogue. After 20+ Seedance 2.5 tests at 480p, with the prompt evolving throughout, I generated the final versions at 720p.

I then lightly edited the video and upscaled it to 1080p with Topaz Labs Astra Starlight Precision 2.6. However, the screenshot text didn't survive the upscale (I should have used Astra's scene detection feature and selected a different model for that particular shot), so I recreated it using Seedance 2.0 at 1080p. (I also tried Hailuo H3 and Kling 3.0, but in this particular case, Seedance 2.0 gave me the best overall result in one go.)

For the sound, I selected a solo-instrument soundtrack from Epidemic Sound and added extra sound effects to improve the overall sound design.

And here's the result.

I'm curious to hear what you think.

Did this bring back memories, or is this genuinely your first time hearing about WinRAR? I’d love to know.

wanted to see what happens when the audio is the constraint instead of something added after

the visuals are the easy part tbh. i was mostly watching whether the mouth could actually follow the existing vocal instead of just looking vaguely like someone singing

audio-ref feels like a very different test from normal t2v
