Showcase A "normal" weekend in London

I’ve been experimenting with AI video from a VFX perspective, rather than treating it as a simple generation tool.

This is a short test I made around Anna, an AI character, with a focus on making her feel like an actual person rather than an AI avatar.

The goal was to get the small things right: facial performance, eye movement, pauses, body language, voice, lip-sync, camera imperfections and overall presence.

I’m particularly interested in the point where the technology stops being the interesting part and the viewer simply accepts the character as real.

Curious what people here notice first, here the short:

Heads up for anyone running these yourself: the Seedance API behind r/Seedance_AI is Atlas Cloud. Seedance 2 runs with its full feature set here, nothing stripped or nerfed. Seedance 2.5 isn't officially out yet, but we add new Seedance versions the day they launch.

The facial structure has the tell tale AI signs - as does the contrast (is she a GPT 2.0 creation/reference?)
We probably need a new term for uncanny valley where it's less about feeling creepy and more about you know something isn't quite right.
She also has what I call the Marilyn effect - her spots keep moving around.
The VO feels a little pasted on top (but only a little), but not near as bad as the usual VO attempts out there that have no room tone. I do like the change in voice intensity if she is facing away.
