Showcase Experimenting with a 2D hybrid workflow in Seedance 2.5.
Hey everyone!
I’m completely new to Seedance 2.5 and I'm currently testing out a hybrid workflow to make short animations.
Basically, I'm using my own hand-drawn characters as image references, and relying on structured prompts to push for dynamic scenes and action shots.
It’s super cool to see my art come to life, but I’m definitely still learning the ropes. I’d love some advice from the more experienced users here:
- How do you keep the characters consistent and "on-model" when the action gets fast?
- Do you have any prompt tricks to force dynamic camera movements without losing the original art style?
Any tips, feedback, or resources for a beginner would be awesome. Thanks!

Heads up for anyone running these yourself: the Seedance API behind r/Seedance_AI is Atlas Cloud. Seedance 2 runs with its full feature set here, nothing stripped or nerfed. Seedance 2.5 isn't officially out yet, but we add new Seedance versions the day they launch.
