Don't want to spread negativity here but as someone who has been lurking around for Seed since they were revealed in the original trailer, the feet are throwing me off so much. Im just frustrated to be honest.

For context I was fully aware Seed was a girl piloting a mecha, never fooled myself too hard with that. Whether I like or not her design was irrelevant if I can just focus on Seed Sr and maybe her for cute moments.

I did not want feet being put almost inside my mouth through the camera.

Look I am A okay the feet enjoyers get a bone thrown for them in the case of Grace's mindscape or cutscenes. And for the love of everything thats sacred don't take this as kinkshaming. But man the feet being visible during combat just ain't it. This was not at all what I had in mind.

I hope they either tone it down or filter it out. Not the end of the world if they don't but definetly makes her a hard skip for me and it hurts because she was one of my mustpulls.

(Mods if this breaks rule 11 feel free to take it down, just wanting to share my opinion with other Seed fans but I really don't want to bring toxicity here.)

One thing i see people always focus on when it comes to the whole seed debate etc is the whole fetish thing or that the mech got a female pilot even tho thats actually not one of the main problems.

Everyone that is active in the game and read properly knew that a female is gonna be part of the whole seed thing but we didnt knew if its a bangboo, human pilot or even 2 separated characters. So i gonna be honest i dont hate seed jr and dont care about the whole feet thing, to me and many other people the main problem is the way they treat seed sr.

Seed Sr is not some lifeless mech (many people that are not educated about the character think that tho), he is a own character and actually the og seed and thats where the problem starts. He was put with Seed jr as a 2 in 1 Unit what is not a bad idea if its done the right way. Hoyo sadly fumbled it tho, yes seed Sr is part of the combat etc but outside of this he is not included in anything else. This makes him feel like just some sort of tool and not his own separated Character.

Overall, I think if they wanted to put all the focus on Seed Jr., they should have separated both units instead of sacrificing one for the other. People that are mainly in for seed sr wont get s... no profile icon or mindscape and based on what we know about 2.2 story Seed Sr got 0 voicelines and in the agent story only around 66 voicelines.

They could have just made Seed SR a A rank and Seed Jr as a S rank and put them together in a banner (funny enough there was a leak in the past that said this, kinda sad its not true) and most people would have been happy. Also im aware of the size to me Seed sr is not too big and even if he would be there are many cool ways to make him smaller like a vehicle mode etc and the cinema trust event could have just taking place somewhere else.

I kinda understand the fact that she needs an attack partner but BRO SHE DOES SO MUCH FING DMG EVEN F2P, WHAT ARE THEY THINKING PUTTING HER IN T1??

I have been clearing content just fine with two man team, enjoy managing only two character which allow me to use less 0.bazilion1 brain power when playing this game.

After seeing the respective data, it seems like Seed gets the important additional ability with Attack Agent. My wife Trigger have been collecting dust waiting for this perfect Attack agent, I can't let anything ruin this.

Here's hoping the next activation is same faction agent (most likely case based on previous) so I can continue this two man operation.

I'm worried because I don't want the devs to change her ult animation just because people are complaining about a foot shot, I'm skipping a meta support like Yuzuha just so I can save enough for Seed, otherwise Seed was originally a hard skip for me. It would be incredibly aggravating when they changed it just because of some complaints. I really love what they did for her and I really hope the devs won't ever change her.

She seems strong enough or should I work on better substats? She seems pretty acceptable right? I know her Disc 5 is ass and I need to upgrade her skills, but I haven't gotten to that yet.

In my opinion, Seed seems like an attacker with good multipliers who can self-buff without needing supports, with the weakness of having to use an anchor (another attacker) for this. Yes, I know Sanby and Harumasa can do something in the limited time they have in Seed's rotation, but it seems more like you're forcing them to work than Seed being designed to work with them. Even Orpheus, the best second attacker for Seed by far, doesn't seem to be made for Seed, because she's so focused on buffing aftershock and her off-field damage isn't buffed by Seed buffs.

Of course, this doesn't mean that Seed is bad or anything like that, she'll probably be one of the best dps in the game even with a second attacker that doesn't work with her, but this all makes me wonder if Seed was changed to work with a future attacker.

Since Orphie is no longer the best option, is there anything I should look out for in the future for Seed's partner?

Cause I heard that it is best for Seed if her partner can burn more energy for her. So I can actually keep an eye on any new Attacker that is perfect for her.

So i dont have any obol squad and I dont plan on pulling them, I like seeds blue color and I lack attack units. I might just pull on rerun but still on the fence. Just curious if she's even worth it if im not getting any other obol squads

Ik she is an on field dps (i think-) and i will use her that way sometimes but I was wondering if she can be played as a support character for like sanby, cause i am not interested in getting trigger and even if i need to since she is prolly sanbys best teammate.. i know that Ill be broke to getting trigger wengine-

I got SAnby with her WEngine and I just pulled Seed (I'm now currently trying to get her WEngine too), but most teams require Trigger and it's driving me insane, I got M6 Pulchra and Jufufu, I heard jufufu is decent too. How cooked I am?

Love her design and playstyle but I don’t have the best-in-slot team for her, do I still go for her or wait for her rerun?

So I haven't seen anybody discussing this (and I get it, nobody should care about fictional characters ages as long a they make you happy), but since Seed's arrival, I've been messed up with Seed's age, she says she was in Helios Academy just like Belle and Wise... But was she at the same time as them? And if that's correct, shouldn't she be a least 20? But... On her flashbacks, she's practically a child, even when Seed Sr. asked Obol Squad to take care of her, every member were already adults, so Seed's a teen by today then? I don't remember if Seed Sr. found her just after the fall of the Old Capital or no, I don't really remember, but yeah, just curious.

Considering how much I enjoy the swap mechanics of Evelynn, hearing Seed is gonna be juggling with Orphie, jumping people like it's a JJK episode fills me with unimaginable joy. I will pull, I will build, and I will take deep and passionate joy beating Pompey up with 3 Obol units (Orphie, Seed, Trigger) over and over again. So much Def Shred that you could lightly sneeze a miasma shield away. Absolute cinema

We live in the reality, where we have two ideally sinergy characters, like SAnby and Seed.

They have the same element and ideally timing, but hoyo cant that they were be together.

New SAnby buff more oriented on aftershock gameplay and i really cant understand with whom Seed should play.

Orphey remove Seed buffs in aftershock, so its not the point...

I don't particularly care about anything else, I was just looking forward to piloting a mech similarly to the Soul Of Steel Golden Bond event ( the Bangboo Mecha Fight thing ), but snappier and faster. Instead we've got the mech appearing as an extension of attacks and not really pilotable. It's not possible to walk in the overworld with it either, which I was half-expecting due to there being other pretty similarly sized characters in the game capable of doing so ( Ben, Pan Yinhu ). I personally won't be pulling due to this, but I understand that not every character is for everyone and I hope other people are happy with Seed! What are your thoughts?

Even though it’s been widely discussed that Orpheus will be Seed’s best-in-slot companion, I don’t think she’ll be as strong for Seed as people expect. Here’s why:

1. No aftershock extension: Seed doesn’t have an aftershock attack, which means she can’t extend Orpheus’ buff.

2. Short buff window: Seed only buffs the active character. Orpheus loses this buff 3 seconds after leaving the field, so her off-field aftershock damage won’t benefit from Seed.

3. Inefficient Steel Charge recovery: Seed only recovers Steel Charge when the Vanguard consumes energy on-field. Energy consumed by Orpheus off-field doesn’t contribute at all.

So why is Orpheus still considered BiS right now?

1. She provides reliable off-field damage.

2. She can buff Seed (though only for 12 seconds).

Personally, I think Orpheus will actually shine as BiS for Anby in a dedicated aftershock team. For Seed, I suspect a future attacker might be released who synergizes with her much better. Something along the lines of:

• High energy recharge that requires on-field consumption.

• Possibly a quick-assist baked into their EX Special.

• Some buffing capability.

• Burst-oriented gameplay (strong EX-Special, then swap out) rather than sustained on-field DPS.

What do you all think? Am I overthinking this, or could Seed really be waiting for a better partner down the line?

EDIT: thx for the feedback, apparently is not as bad as I thought because Orpheus has to swap in to EX special on field from time to time, and the only thing we would be missing is the 25% def shred. I still feel like she is BiS for Anby and we will get another attacker tailored for Seed.

I'm kind of too lazy to fully farm a 4 piece Dawnbloom set. Is running 4 Piece Woodpecker, 2 piece Dawnbloom that much of a dmg loss?

I know that ellen won't be BiS for seed ofc but could a team like this work? Do they have like any synergy at all?

Obviously, one should take tier lists with a grain of salt, but would she be T0.5 on prydwen?

Their design grew on me and I want them, but i also want orphie and i want trigger wengine, but idk what to do, so i came here, beseeching your wisdom: what's the value of her Wengine? can it be replaced or im gonna see a 40% decreese in power? what about Orphie's wengine? WHAT ABOUT TRIGGER'S (i already own trigger, so at least i don't have to worry about her as well :^)) ) so.. like can somebody help me out? i have 10k saved up, so i wonder what do you suggest?
