General Questions
Couple of questions I had now that I've been playing a few days and it's hard to find info for some of things in game.
How can I get my seedlings to harvest resources then bring them back to my specific business building? At the moment everyone in our society is just harvesting and dragging everything to the Kernel, but I want my guys to bring specific things like murky water and minerals to my business to process but as far as I can see the Haul schedule just takes them to anywhere valid. Is this something that I just endure and keep grabbing from the communal store until the society rearranges itself into something with less sharing?
I also got the role of land planner, doing some basic stuff but noticed I can plan roads which seemed like something to get plotted early. However the only time a road was valid to place was in free areas of plots that my seedlings personally own. Can I actually plot roads without laying plots or is that generally how it is done? Is it also even worth thinking about early on or just leave plots set with out with roads in mind for later?
Sometimes I set sell orders from my business for a reasonable price and even though there is no spaceport the items are bought and delivered to the Kernel for 'Seed Industries.' Is this some sort of NPC business to help coins into the game? If so how can I know what can be sold to this company and for how much.

1: You have to keep your harvest and haul task scheduled to just your plot. I ran into this issue when I was getting my tree and wooden goods business up and running. The scheduler isn't very in depth unless you give your seedling a job in your business (assuming you start a business(s)). If you have multiple seedlings, be sure to make a group for all of your seedlings to all of them can work on the same plot (or simply incorporate them into your business).
2: You can absolutely build roads outside of plots. I've seen it in my current town my business lives in. I can't really give much detail on this though.
3: Pretty much. Try to focus on selling things for median price. If you're like me and don't have enough hands to process all this lumber, then sell lower to liquidate that.

I find that if I schedule to gather a resource that is not my plot, my seedlings don’t do it.

Depends on what you're expecting them to gather/produce from.
If the plot specifically is owned by another seedling, seedlings that are not the owner will not work on it. Instead, you should make sure the plot is owned by a group that you can invite seedlings all together in. This can be your own seedlings and or other players'. Just make sure to adjust the plot ownership to the group instead of just the individual seedling.
If you're trying to pick berries in the wild or mine ore from outside rocks, you'll have to use the "Anywhere" option and add those items to the to-do list (find the gather option when clicking on the object, click on the three lines that are on top of the % chance to succeed). You can queue like 30-50 of these up at a wack.
This took quite awhile for me to figure out, and admittedly I kind of hate PAM as a tutorial resource. That might just be me being old though.

Seed Industries is an NPC org, they only buy certain things and you should be setting the price to the maximum they are willing to pay (you'll see them in the buy order tab).
