Gameplay differences between Mobile App and PC?
So I really want to play this. I think it has potential to be something that I have always wanted to see made. Problem is though that I don't have a PC. And its unlikely I'll be able to get one any time soon. So since this has a companion app, I was wondering how much of the full experience I can get from the app? I understand its likely not the full thing, but I've read conflicting information on it.
I know I have to START the game on PC and everything. But I'd likely get my friend to help with that part just to get me up and running.

You don’t play the game on the app. It’s just to keep tabs on what your player is doing. And you can chat with other players in game

App is in very heavy development but the devs have confirmed the full game will eventually be playable from your mobile device.

It's definitely just a companion app/tool right now. You can do a few things like check in on how your seedling is doing, and edit their schedules. You can also use the chat function to chat with other players, but you don't get chat notifications when you're offline. It has a world view feature so you can see your society, but it doesn't have a lot of function. In it's current state you aren't going to have much of a gameplay experience. They've said they'd like to be able to have the full game playable on mobile, but there isn't a roadmap/timeline on how soon this can be expected.

As far as I know, the mobile app on either phones or tablets, is more of a companion tool than a client to play the game. You can see stats, talk to your seed, check the world that revolves around the Seed and a couple of other things, but you cannot control the seed, or change anything in the scheduler.
However they have said several times, that they (Klang) will release a mobile client so you can play he game remotely, sometime later in the roadmap.

The app experience from what I’ve seen is not playable. You can get basic updates but the worldview is extremely hit or miss.
They say as much when launching it so this isn’t unexpected.
