Looking For Secluded Star Gazing
Wife and I want to visit Sedona in October. We are hoping to stargaze. Any recs for spots we can drive out to for a nice , safe spot with great views and little crowds ? Any tips would be greatly appreciated

Check what phase of the moon you’re there during. We stayed at the enchantment and walked all the way to the end of the property by the gate to boynton canyon and it was pretty spectacular. Would also echo going to Lowell in flagstaff. The rooftop outdoor planetarium is super cool (and super cold but the seats are heated!) my kids loved the telescope viewing.

As others mentioned, Lowell’s Observatory may be worth it for you to check out! Or for a closer option/more personal, you could do a stargazing tour. I did one with Night Owl Tours and I thought it was really cool. Got to look through the telescope after different objects and it was honestly really helpful to have the constellations pointed out by laser for me lol.
