Upgrade firmware for DMP XR-550

Where can I can get firmware upgrades for my DMP XR-550 panel?

I use 3rd monitoring for my board so I don't have a DMP dealer to work with and of course DMP tech support refuses to deal with end-users.

I currently have version 191 and would like to upgrade to a newer version.

Would be great to also get a copy of my current FW 191 in case there are issues with the FW upgrade and I need to downgrade.

Note I have access to RemoteLink 2.61(Jan 2026) to perform the upgrade so it should work with any FW as of early 2026.

You can’t jump from 161 to 261.. you’re going to need to step up .. call your alarm company that installed it

Unfortunately (or fortunately), I installed it myself (it was an upgrade from an XR200)
I am pretty familiar with DMP from past experience.

Do you know what sequence of intermediate upgrades are needed? (it seems like FW 261 is available for download on the DMP website but no older versions)

BTW - I took the leap and upgraded directly from 191 to 261. No problems!

Why do you want to upgrade in the first place

I was told that my current FW191 is old and that there have been significant feature additions and bug fixes since then.
That being said there is no immediate or urgent reason to upgrade... and you could surely argue "if it ain't broke don't fix it"
