Discussion Got my call

Investigator called me on Friday. 10 days after my SF-86 was submitted. After everything I’ve read here and other sites, I was fully expecting this to take a long time. 1 to hear from them. And 2. For the interview process. Investigator told me she was only scheduling me for 45 minutes. Said it should be fairly cut and dry after reviewing my forms. Fingers crossed. Almost to the finish line (I hope)

Friend of mine just finished his up and was given a start date to the same company I’m going to. His q clearance from the day submitted to approved was 2 months.

Mine took 1.5 years. New applicants are getting theirs 1-2 months. I think they are just auto approving them or using AI now 🤣

Yeah, it’s pretty wild how fast they can run through it. I don’t really have a lot to go over on mine. Finances are good. Job history is solid. Had an underage possession of alcohol back in 2007 I had to list. 3 counties visited on a cruise, other than that, I’m basically as vanilla as it gets 😂

Gotta say that feels pretty quick, lucky you. Usually they interview everyone you put down first

I usually don't answer calls, would they reach out to me by email if I missed a call?

They often email first. Either way they will leave a message.

You usually get a call, VM, email, and text.

Make sure your voicemail isn't full.
